Let me start this off by saying that Red Dead Redemption 2 is a GREAT game. However... Red Dead Online is a HORRIBLE game. Rockstar does not care about updating Red Dead Online in any way. They gain all their money from GTAV and its "Shark Cards" which is the main reason they don't care about this game. This game is filled with pointless missions which you play over and over a thousand times, until you finally get bored and uninstall the game like I did. This game is infested with hackers who ruin the games economy, or grief other players with aim-bot or infinite explosive ammo cheats. The games PVP sucks (at least for PC), it consist of unbalanced ability cards which have gone through numerous nerfs and buffs just to still be ♥♥♥♥. Not to mention for whatever reason they allow controller players to use the "lock on" feature on PC players. It's not even a "soft" lock-on it is straight up "console style" lock-on that follows you even if you full sprint. The sprinting as well is extremely fast and meant for a game that has a "lock-on" feature when aiming guns. It's extremely hard to hit someone when they zig-zag towards/ away from you at 40 MPH. They have not added any meaningful updates since the addition of the bounty hunter role.

Overall this game is ♥♥♥♥. Stay away from it, go spend your money on something else and save yourself from disappointment.

It's overall good for a free game and all the content it has. This game is like a poor mans AoE.

good but clunky mechanics

Decent game, however filled with hackers. Also slightly sort of P2W.

Dull game that gets boring really quick, everyone in this game try-hards and people are constantly finding new ridiculously OP metas that either get nerfed or changed. Horse are practically broken, and some of the physics engine is too. Would not recommend.

I love every aspect of this game. If you like a good survival style strategy game in which you build a colony, then this is the game for you.

It's only good because it's "Fallout Online", however this game still needs lots of polishing in many aspects. PVP in this game sucks, don't buy this game unless you plan on having to deal with unstable FPS and other ridiculously unbalanced / unpolished features.

The best part about this game are the "roleplay" aspects of it, and camp building.

Good game, nice gun physics. The concept is good.

The AI could be better.
Map size needs to be increased, it's currently too small to sustain any more then around 20 players, without running into someone everywhere you go.
