Mark’s Gmod Review
A Garry's Mod Analysis, written by a serious player who turned to minge.

I first got Garry's Mod in September of 2013, in hopes my friends would get it. They did, after a couple months. Around this time, I only had 13 hours in the game, because I thought there was nothing to do in it. Looking at my hours, I was wrong. Anyways, I played with a friend more than others I believe, on a server called Variety Gaming. We messed around a lot, not knowing what NLR or RDM was. I would ask what these things were, but nobody would answer me because I was not in OOC. We ran people over, killed people with any weapons we had, and we didn't have any consequences, really. This friend and I, had a long battle with someone, and soon after that, the server shut down, we weren't banned or anything, server just shut down. That was the end of Variety Gaming server.

Next year, in 2014, I started playing a lot of Jailbreak. I took this very seriously for some reason. I have probably 300 hours in Jailbreak. Met a few good friends, don't really talk to them anymore. Jailbreak got boring and the server I played on got closed down.

Later in 2014, I got back into DarkRP, with the friends I met in Jailbreak. We played Chrono Gaming, the best DarkRP server there has ever been. No doubts. The owner was a nice guy, but there was a very abusive admin that could get away with anything he wanted to. The first time I played the server, I stole a jeep, ran over 7 people with it, then got perma-banned. So, I wrote an appeal, and it got accepted. I started playing on the server again, making money and unraidable bases. There were some good events, such as Battle of Berlin, where the entire server would participate. There were about 25 Allies and 5 Germans with over-powered weapons. I won once, but I didn't get the 50 million cash prize because "I complained about our ♥♥♥♥♥♥ weapons the entire time." Another event was D-Day, exactly what you think it was. Since we played on rp_downtown_v4c, there was the little beach area. This event, had teams just like the Battle Of Berlin event. Except, this event was impossible to win if you were the Allies. You had to cram into the little gap between the wall and the house on the left, so the Germans could just look down and kill you right away.

The original owner of Chrono Gaming gave the ownership to a very ♥♥♥♥♥♥ owner. He changed the map, claimed that he always owned Chrono Gaming. The player rate went from the server always being full, to being absolutely empty. Chrono soon shut down after that, later to be brought back a year later. This server lasted about a month, until Chrono Gaming shut down for good.

Now, in the summer of 2015, I started getting into Deathrun, I probably have about 200 hours in this. I would play this a lot on a server called Compact Gamers. Good community at the time, everyone kind of knew each other. There was a lot of fun in playing it, I don't really know what made me stop playing it.

November 2015, the month I started to minge. I played a server, Civil War RP, where I became a Confederate Soldier because we were outnumbered by the Union. Anyways, a few guys came on and decided to make an Iron Brigade. We got about 30 people on our team to rush over to the Union side and spawn-camp, which when we did we lasted about two minutes before our numbers got lower and lower and we all respawned. Then the process of this would repeat. After this, I decided, "You know, messing around in Garry's Mod is fun, I'll do it more often."

Little story, I stream-sniped Zuthar13 in Nov. 2015 and ran up to him and the group of people and yelled "GUYS LOOK WHO IT IS IT'S ZUTHAR! I'M GONNA TAKE ALL THE PICTURES I CAN OF ZUTHAR!!!!" This made him leave the server, throw down his headset and walk away. This video can be found on his channel as well, not the only one I'm in either.

I don't remember much of Early 2016, but my mingeing started up again in August 2016. I would join random servers and RDM. DarkRP, PoliceRP, PrisonRP, Jailbreak, TTT, you name it, I probably have rdmed on it.

Again, in the month of November, 2016, I found a new server to play on. DarkRP. Revolt Gaming. I loaded in and became a mayor. I made enemies with the Chinese gangsters very quick. I got kidnapped by them 5 times. The first 4 times for them were successful, the 5th, not so much. I told them I would bring them to the SWAT to open up a safe or something. They actually believe me and I bring them to the SWAT, where he arrests the entire group of gangsters and associates. I walked back and they started yelling for me to let them out. I didn't. The server got updated because it was very laggy, and for some reason after this, the server went down.

Now, in 2017, I haven't played GMOD so much, only to mess around on Star Wars RP or HL2RP. In November though, I think something fun will happen like the past 4 Novembers. Until then, I don't have much to say. I will be adding onto this review at a later date. One last thing. Do not take Garry's Mod seriously. Mess around. Have fun.

During the summer of 2018, I minged in Hogwarts RP and other servers, later to go into 1944RP and to definitely not minge in that server, but to form a group known as the Train Riders. I did definitely not minge in this server.

November 2018, nothing super special happened that can make it on here. Still doing the same things that I've been doing for years. I feel that the game is slowly dying and soon will collapse.

I am now banned from nearly all TTT servers, from reasons ranging from Ghosting to Tactical RDM. The only thing to do on the game is to have fun, and the only way to have fun is to not take the game itself seriously, but to make sure that it works out the way you want it to.

November 2019, the game is worse than ever. There is nothing to do anymore.

When I was growing up Halo in general was a bonding I hold between me and my dad. I remember playing halo with my dad on split screen almost 80 percent of the time growing up. Even playing at times when I should of been sleeping, my dad would come in my room and wake me up to beat a level we couldnt beat. Those where the true golden times and memories that I will have close to me forever. I enjoyed every Halo game that came out (we dont talk about halo 4) and had a blast with my dad. Also playing forge mode with friends and staying up late on Halo reach multiplayer. Seeing halo on steam now finally gave me that warm feeling again that I felt years ago, and it feels great. I hope that they add Halo 5 to the pc also besides the forge mode, because in my opinion I think the ranking system is dope, and I enjoy halo 5s multiplayer as a whole. I would have to give the mcc on steam a solid 9/10 it might be me blinded from good memories in the past carrying on to now, but it is a true feeling of joy. I hope others feel the same about Halo mcc on steam.
