I've had other Steam users try to identify me in public comments meant to thank me on populated forums, and I've also had a fair share of people try to give me various things for free as thanks for things I don't see as a big deal (i.e. crafting booster packs for them).

The problem lies in the constant feeling that I haven't done anything significant enough to truly deserve these public displays of gratitude and/or the card sets I've been offered before as a gift meant to say thanks.

I also know that at least a few folks supposedly "secretly" stalk my profile, and I can't comprehend why because I'm nobody special, and I have nothing to offer. I promised myself I'd simply watch people from afar while wishing them all the happiness in the world, and that's the best (and only) thing I can do.
