This used to be an info box describing why I feel uncomfortable with shows of gratitude from others, but parts of what I wrote here don't seem right when I look back at it. Particularly the part where I wish other people all the happiness in the world, despite making it known that I can't accept gifts from other people due to feelings of inadequacy. If choosing not to let folks treat me to stuff means I've been denying other people happiness by refusing to accept their goodwill, then that legitimately does make me a hypocrite (which I can't defend myself for).

So... yeah, I don't know what to do with this custom info box. I'm open to suggestions if you have any, though.
