Played 25 hours. Then tried to load a save and none worked. Steam forums, reddit, try everything...nothing.

Found the issue, it was a steam cloud sync problem, not a game problem.

Game is nice, imagine Frostpunk in space, but with a smaller budget.

Learn philosophy, do puzzles, have fun.

Best played with friends.

55 Hours. Lvl 67. 74% of all achievements. Most unique weapons found. And here's what I have to say:

1. I don't know why but I think the characters/dialogue was better in ELEX 1.
2. The map is huge but feels small. I don't know...all you do when exploring is find random resources.
3. Adding mobs after the endgame was nice, but you simply kill them all and buy potions and just play around 5 more hours boosting your stats for what? nothing :) I think maybe including some form of castle siege that gets more and more difficult that you can at least brag about would be a plus.
4. Unlike ELEX 1 you have only 1 ending which was really lame. I mean the Changeling (Taylor) or what's his name was quite basic. Last hours of ELEX 2 before completion is simply a dialogue simulator.
5. Don't get me wrong, the game was nice and would recommend buying it if you're a GOTHIC fan, but you will never play GOTHIC for the first time again, that's the truth that nobody will tell you.

Nothing like the original. Only thing it has going is nice graphics. Horrible voice acting, the characters are a joke. The only thing this game does is milk our nostalgia for the original.

Brings back memories...however it does feel dated....worth the money....yet I am still waiting for AOE IV if it will ever come.

i hate this game. 3441 hours of my life are gone.
I recommend it if you want no life.

while the game is awesome, YOU CAN'T SAVE. and that makes it unplayable. basically you get killed every 10minutes and have to start from scratch each time.
