One of the major complaints you'd see even today, approaching 2024, are the performance issues, mainly the first explorable area, Koboh.
I was running this game on an i5-12400f and a GTX 1060, which is below even the minimum spec for the GPU; and so I installed a performance mod from Nexusmods as a precaution before installing the game. Game bugged out on me 2 times, a story bug and a game black screen, which were fixed after a simple restart.

And now that I've completed the game with an almost 100% exploration, I would say that 95% of the time the game was running surprisingly smoothly. It was smooth sailing at around 60fps and only dipped towards areas where the effect particles were excessive (first world, purple-ish particles area)

- As for story, I'd give it an 8.5/10, and it's expected to have another sequel, likely being a trilogy to finish off Cal's journey.
- Combat has more variety now with new stances, moves, stronger force abilities and perks (like Hollow Knight's charm system). The Grandmaster difficulty in this game is significantly harder over Fallen Order's. It is also a little more jank in its physics and hitbox.
The one thing I really appreciated was that previous moves and exploration abilities from Fallen Order was brought over from the very start, so it is a faster paced game than Fallen Order.
- The worlds in the game was just satisfactory, with 2 of them being large ones (Koboh > Jedha) and the rest being smaller ones.
- Customisation for both Cal and BD-1 cosmetics has improved, with a variety of clothing, lightsaber parts, BD-1 parts and blaster parts. Unfortunately the Mantis cannot be customised (recoloured) like the previous game.
- New Game+ only offers new perks and a new lightsaber colour. No Meditation training which is a huge shame.

Conclusion, this game is a must-play for those who liked Fallen Order and it is a deserving sequel of a great game. While everyone's experience with its performance is different, I highly recommend you to try the game out yourself when it goes on sale.
Granted, you'd have to rush through the first area (Coruscant) to Koboh to really test out your performance before you go over the 2 hour refund period.

They went all out on the ending.
Game is great, however note that you can get overpowered really easily with stacked gear and attack.

You know the game is good when you can still avoid encounters by hugging the wall.

100%'d the game on the 18th, it is definitely a step-up from the original PSP, which I've 100%'d numerous times.
Environments are really pretty too, some have added details to set up the tone and atmosphere better.
Combat is faster now; dodging, guarding and attacking is more responsive and fluid.
Enemies also has faster attacks with smaller delays.
Missions are way easier to traverse without fighting the camera + sprinting, and the amount of chests will be shown.
EN VA is as any other review; kinda flat and monotone. JP VAs remain the same from the original.
The superboss on Hard difficulty is also wayyyyyyy harder now, so don't rely too much on Costly Punch xddd
(Tip: Jump attacks are meta now)

Good game, except when you experience screen shake to nauseating levels. Giving yourself a break from time to time is recommended.

Closing in to 1300 hours, Destiny strikes to be a very smooth and enjoyable game for me.
The Good
- The gunplay is fun, some of the perks are unique and can bring out different builds with devastating results.
- The music brings out the ambience. For people who love reading and story-writing, the lore is filled with history and mysteries.
- The enemies have different behaviours to tackle on. Difficulty in the game is fun and challenging.
- The raids are honestly the most fun activity for me where teamwork and big damage numbers are essential with a side of sweet loot.
- Just get Forsaken.
The Bad
- PvP. It is clearly evident that this mode is neglected by the long time-gap of balancing. E.g It took them a year to balance out Super resistance. Some buffs or perks go unchecked, let's say OHKO Thundercoils and near-invincible-Arc Batteries.
- Gambit. It's no surprise this mode is hated by most in the community. Most players you encounter in this mode are chasing to tick boxes to earn Pinnacle/ Ritual weapons with no consideration of teamwork. Also Truth simulator.
- The state of the game in the long-run. I have been playing this game since around November 2018 and still continue to do so vigorously(for now). Destiny 2's prime was in it's Forsaken era and since Season of the Drifter, it has been going downhill.
No new seasonal bright engrams, no vendor refresh, barely any new vanguard strikes or crucible maps (2 of them are returning maps btw). Most of the design work are being put in the Eververse store (I have refused to buy anymore Silver ever since I got spat in the face for buying the SoH glows)
And honestly, Shadowkeep(even with SeasonofUndying!) has been a big letdown for me. The scarce amount of exotics to chase, the short-lived story, the amount of recycled content and the bloating of eververse are not worth the price-tag of Shadowkeep as of now.
-Season of Worthy is wack af b0i don't waste your time in this game.
