I love this game and it's constant chaos. I love this game and all the tools you get to deal with this chaos. I love the worldwide community that this game has built up as some of my best rounds and interactions have with people not in the US. I am very glad Sony decided to walk back their decision for the good of the community. Good on Arrowhead for constantly listening to the community in making one of the best games of this generation. Even better, thank you to Sony for listening to the feedback from the community and acting on it.

TL;DR Act 1: Amazing Act 2: Very good, Act 3: Ok, Act 4: Ok, Act 5: Bad/ Good game

This game is very clearly an art project/proof of concept and shows it 100%. The atmosphere and sound design of this game is amazing. The labyrinthine halls mixed with a beautiful amount of good old body horror works well. The combat is abysmal, though. I really didn't have too much problem keeping myself stocked up on health and ammo (because I chose to only fight when I need to) but when I would get in a fight it was like pulling teeth. The little chickens take 2 shots, bigger guys take 4, and the Stallion take 6. This means if you go around playing this like an FPS you will be out of health and ammo in no time. My suggestion is if you are going to pick this game up get it for the art and atmosphere. If you want a cool walking sim with interesting puzzles and exploration get this game. If you just want to just go around shooting everything you see than don't.

I have no words to describe this game. It's like Fallout: NV without all the bugs. The story is riveting and the characters feel alive.

It's a buggy mess, At times civis won't load in properly, your car will get stuck in buildings, and NPC's will run on mass when you pull your car up on the curb. Despite all this it is a very fun game with an engaging story and riviting characters.

Pros of buying Squad:
1. Authentic hardcore FPS
2. A great community.
3. Great team work based strategy and action.

Cons of buying Squad:
1. Dubious monetization


Im just as mad about the emotes as anyone else but to see that bad reviews are coming from people with 100+hrs because of a bad division on the part of the dev is stupid. Stop driving people away from this game.

Valley is a classic example of instead of you playing the game the game playing you. It has a very well put together story, interesting characters with interesting motives, very cool locations, and some very fun puzzle solving. But that is where the good ends. There are a good few gliches that ALMOST broke the game (I was able to wiggle my way out of them), the locations and the challages could get worn out at times, its the same 2 enemies with variations in how many shots they can take and how they attack, and finally there acre some plotholes that I noticed, these I will go into more detail in later on. Personally I would not buy it at full retail price. But looking past some of the flaws it is a pretty decently put together game that I never got bored playing in my 3 hours.

:spoilers: I was hoping that it would end with you being found? Or atleast you getting to keep the L.E.A.F suit and be the "Gaurdian of the Vally" but it ends off on a "OOOOOoooo wHAt HAppeNed To thE PC????" which I feel for a game like this with a story as is, is not a very interesting or good ending to have. I mean, hell, you dont even keep the Seed??? You know what one thing that you came to the Vally for? Yea that is out the window. Really I just wish the ending was more substantial and with a better sense of finality then it actually was. :spoilers:

A simple game with simple beautiful gameplay. It's definitely worth every penny.

The thing is I like the game alot. But there are some very big downsides too it. These both are mostly becuase the game is still in early access.

1. The optimazation is terrible- Now i have an OK PC. IT can run most other games at around 60 FPS with medium settings. In this game though I get around a FPS of 30 maybe. On med settings.
2.IT is pretty glichy- There are a good number of glitches I have come acrost so far that have runined my experiance/Imersion. One if witch being whenever I placed my items in a waterproof chest they would dissapear. And when I go on (Spoilers) the Island and I take out my seaglide my player moddle screws up and it tries to hold all the other items like that.
3.IT is a grind to get anytthing and that can kill the fun- At times it might take you a stright hour of grinding to find the one thing you may need to advance the games plot. Take this part as you will though. I know alot of people actually enjoy the grind. And im not saying everything sould be super esay to get. But I would wish things that are integral to the story would not be so hard to come acrost some times.

But for all its faults it is a great game. It is an experiance like no other that you would defenitly see for yourself. So I will be giving it a thumbs up becuase you really do need to buy this game and see for yourself how you can be so enraptured in a Fictional world...

This game is a very fun and engaging game. You will spend 100000000000 hours just getting your person OP stuff.
