I can already tell that I'm going to put a lot of hours into this game. Great movement shooter + a good rogue-light experience makes for something addictive and special.

The movement is second to none and the weapons are so much fun. If you like FPS and somehow haven't played this yet; it's a must play.

Playing in the Kex engine feels good but make sure to turn texture smoothing off. Scourge of Armagon and Dimensions of the Machine in this new engine are by far my favourite Quake experiences.

CS has the most toxic, homophobic and often times racist community I have ever encountered. A complete lack of sportsmanship is normalised. Some players will be friendly and offer constructive criticism. Many will not. Anyone considering playing this game should know that sadly if you can't tolerate hate it should be avoided.

Not the most exciting FPS but by far the most fun. Its been popular for 16 years and for good reason.

Unfortunately the only way to play competitive formats properly is through communities like UGC, EFTL and TF2C. It would be nice if Valve took the time to repair the official matchmaking which many years after launch is still barely playable due to the lack of class limits, hackers and the loss of interest from players following the failure of the Meet Your Match update.

Gunplay is unskilled, movement feels clumsy and imprecise, high render latency at reasonable settings makes it all a bit sluggish and RockStar Socials is forced on us.

The story and graphics are good enough to make up for all that. This is by far my favourite release from RockStar.

By far the best Roguelike and Platformer I have ever played. Some say it's too difficult. I disagree. This is one of the few games where even losing feels good.

The procedural generation and RNG elements are perfect, they make it endlessly re-playable but it still always feels as if success is down to little more than the players skill. The artwork is excellently hand drawn. I can't praise this game enough.

Has it's enjoyable moments but is mostly boring.

It's not quite what I'd expect from Valve but if I didn't know better i'd assume they made it. I'm only 2 chambers in however that's enough for me to realise that if this had been released not as a mod but as Portal 3 I wouldn't have been disappointed.
