Once a great game, been abandoned for 3 years.

I was incredibly excited for this game as I'm a huge fan of the original, with other 2000 hours logged. But in its current state it is far too buggy and poorly optimised. Even with their recommended hardware people are having issues maintaining a stable framerate, I hit the minimum requirements and struggle to achieve 30fps during a launch at 1080p on minimum settings.

Story
Pro: Nonlinear and immersive...
Con: ...when cars and animations behave, which they usually don't.

Graphics
Pro: Visually pleasing...
Con: ...if you have anything better than a 2080.

Dialogue
Pro: Believable and mostly realistic...
Con: ...when the voice lines aren't cut short for no apparent reason.

Music & Radio
Pro: Yet to have had a song repeat...
Con: ...I've yet to have likeable songs repeat.

World building & Lore
Pro: Very little of it is shoved in your face as exposition, you learn of it along the way or as a part of the TV shows and/or Radio broadcasts...
Con: ...there's not much of any of it to begin with.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this is awful

Imagine years ago when you would head into town you'd go into the local bakery and pick up a doughnut now and then, it was a perfect doughnut with a sweet strawberry icing and multicoloured sprinkles. One day you go down and buy one for old times sake, but not only does it have no sprinkles, but it's also a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bagel. This is Just Cause 4.

Where to even start...

Simplistic graphics, fast-paced combat, beautifully refined upgrade system, historical aircraft with their cartoon twist, and the Critical Missions are reworks of their historical counterparts.

An almost limitless amount of pros, and can't think of any cons.

Simple, stressful, but beyond enjoyable.

A superb game showing true bloodshed in the trenches of WWI, although M2H and Blackmill Games may have some competition with Battlefield 1.

Quite an unstable game, had to mess around with some Uplay options just to get it to launch and crashed every 20 minutes. Had to get a refund, it was unbearable.

Sat down to play with a friend for a half-an-hour session, I peeled myself off my chair the following day. 10/10 would recommend livestreaming it.
