NieR Replicant™ ver.1.22474469139...
Is a remake/remaster of Nier Replicant from 2010, which was originally only available on consoles and Japan
I have experienced Nier Gestalt ( western release ) sometime after playing Automata, while it was great storywise, gameplay wise it did not live up to the same potential. Now for the first time we're able to experience the original story with Brother Nier, who I personally feel fits better into the story, still it's a bit sad that Dad Nier is not an option, but perhaps that'll be addressed in the future.
The game goes off to a great start, having received it's first patch not 4 years after release, unlike Automata. The game has been improved graphically pretty immensely, yet it manages to capture the same feel of the original. Gameplay wise it's a really nice improvement and I'd say it is very much enjoyable, one of the most exciting part is however the new story content, there's an entire new scenario thrown in somewhere in the middle and they actually went ahead and added and expanded upon the true ending that was previously only available in novel form. They also re-recorded the soundtrack which is great as always and recorded new voicelines.
Pros:
Enjoyable Cast
Enjoyable Combat
Fully voiced
Nice artstyle
Beautiful Music
Good Story
New Scenarios
New Ending
Ingame Rendered Cutscenes
60FPS
Bro Nier is cute
No recast voice actors
Free Automata goodies
Old DLC content not sold separately
Cons:
No Dad Nier option
Route repetition a bit overplayed
Fishing
Farming Machines

So, I was originally gonna put a negative review as a joke, cause no vagina 2, right?
Well it turns out I'll have to make a negative review for real.

Between the horrible performance, and the lack of basic features such as the lack of a walk button, hairstylist, tattoist, or just being able to change at least SOME options in the mirror? ( nails, makeup ) the game is in quite a flaky state.
Gunfire is nothing to write home about, sort of reminds me of Borderlands 2, I guess? Not inherently a bad thing since this isn't the game's main focus. However it sort of skimps out on the RPG elements as well, it definitely railroads you quite a bit, and there's not a lot of dialogues to choose from, I'm only at act 2, and while the story is intriguing it does feel like Act 1 was rather short-lived so I'm kinda concerned over how much content we will actually get out of this. Side quests that I've done so far have been nothing but very short and mostly meaningless. The city doesn't really feel alive and the npcs usually only have one line to say if you're lucky. There's bugs, nothing game breaking to be honest, a few visual things here and there was what I noticed.
Honestly I do want to enjoy this game, and I feel disappointed that after all the wait this is the product that we've got, I mean I get that it's launch day and that they'll probably do something to make it better, but still, just how much can they fix this? As it stands it's a negative review for me, hopefully that'll change.

Pros:
Graphics (if tweaked)
Great Music
Great Voice Acting
Story has potential
Nice (facial) animations
You can call NPCs whenever and talk stuff, pretty nice touch.

Cons:
Forced TAA
Lack of AI
No walk toggle, lack of keybinding for some things
Lack of interactability
Railroading (?)
Visual Bugs
Somewhat muddy graphics ( can be remedied by tweaking options )
No chance to change appearance after CC
CC has lighting that makes things look green-ish
Radio control is sluggish
Pretty bad performance
No Vagina 2

Helltaker is a short little puzzle/rhythm game, the latter comes in during a boss fight which quite challenging. You're not gonna lose anything by trying the game, it's short and doesn't take much space.

Pros:
Cute Art Design
Funny
Rhythm music
Free
Puzzle Achievements
Satanic/Hell Themed

Cons:
A bit short, but it's to be expected.

Conclusion:
Would like to see more stuff like this in, even with a price tag to justify a longer game.

Truly should win 2020 artstyle btw.

I've recently added this game to my collection during the summer sale, it seemed pretty interesting.

Pros:
+ Stunning Graphics
+ Enjoyable Story
+ Likeable Characters
+ Very Emotional Voice Acting
+ Good atmospheric soundtrack
+ Cute Little Brother ♥
+ Rat Physics

Neutral:
~ Length: Took me about 12 hours while trying to explore around.

Cons:
- Horrible Checkpoint system
- Upgrades become useless over time, as new mechanics are introduced
- Mostly a single playthrough game
- Dodge button is useless for 99,99% of the game.

The Story:
First of all, this game is heavily story focused, so people looking for action are probably not going to be too fond of this game.

The story takes place in France in the 13th century, you play as Amicia De Rune, a 15 year old girl who has to grow up fast to take care of her little brother Hugo. To me personally their relationship and acting seemed to fit, and I never felt like Hugo was being annoying, which is good because the game is mostly an escort mission. The story gets more fantasy elements as it unfolds, which if you're going in blind could be a bit surprising, but it's hinted really early on.

The gameplay:

Stealth/Exploration: Arguably where you'll spend most of your time, the AI itself isn't exactly too smart so you can sometimes cheese scenarios. Guards don't really seem to move a lot on their own, so you have to rely on making noise to attract them elsewhere, this is probably the weakest part. The game rewards exploration by giving you collectibles and materials you can use to upgrade your equipment that can make you harder to detect, or give your only weapon a bit more of a punch. Aside from guards you have to watch out for the rats, who are pretty much instakilling you if you fail to do what you're supposed to, they make neat puzzles but sometimes can be a bit annoying when you don't know what to do. Aside from upgrades you will also learn to craft several alchemy items that will be necessary towards progression, which builds upon the guard/rats stealth gameplay, giving you the ability to play strategically, or you could try to simply bash people with rocks.

Combat: While the combat itself exist in the game, it's rather short and 90% of the time ends up with you staring at a game over screen. Upon being discovered by guards combat begins, and if you're unable to take them out before they reach you, you die. There's a few bosses in the game, where you have no choice but to fight, which mostly make use of the game's otherwise rarely used dodge button and the sling to counter attack. There are tougher enemies with helmets, and shields who you can't just easily kill, but the aforementioned alchemy items can overcome those challenges as well. Generally this game isn't known for it's good combat, and you'll probably die a fair amount of time when you engage in it.

Escape sequences: They're pretty infrequent and happen mostly early on in the game, you just have to run away from your pursuers through narrow corridors and such, I don't think you can really fail these ones unless you're trying to.

Graphics: The game features a photo mode to capture the atmospheric enviroments that you'll see upon your journey. The protagonists and other friendly characters all have polished models and textures, and the enemies while somewhat repeated do look like they belong in the era the game takes place in. The other antagonists of the game, the rats are very intimidating due to how many of them on the screen. The game features a lot of mild to really violent gore which you'll have to deal with.

Conclusion: I enjoyed most of the game, and the only real parts that were frustrating had to do with the checkpoint system being somewhat unreasonable at times. The story holds up together and has lots of emotional moments, the puzzles feel challenging and getting revenge on the guards feels satisfying. There's also some hidden achievements for the very scarce choices you can make in the game. Overall I'm going to rate this game good, as though the game has flaws it doesn't stand out too much for a story game.

Play as Vincent Brooks, the anime version of Troy Baker who finds himself in some kind of anime love triangle and must jump and be a sheep and stuff, really cool.

Pros:
Narrator's voice and trivia
Addictive gameplay
Great music
Good voice acting
Has been patched on PC

Cons:
Has some bugs still
Co-op is couch only
Steam thinks it's ok to recommend hentai to me cause this game has some suggestive themes.

A game that features war in a meaningful way, it has received tons of updates over the years while the price of the game is very friendly, and some of the DLC content even goes to charity. Props to 11bit studios.

Pros:
Moral decisions that are meaningful
Multiple endings
Enjoyable gameplay
Cheap
Beautiful Music
Atmospheric
Shows war like no other game
High replayability
Custom Characters
Longterm Support

Cons:
Save times
Lack of meaningful tools

The final piece of the Dark Souls triology, storywise it's pretty standalone but there are a lot of callbacks to DS1, and some to DS2. The combat is more refined now, it leans a bit more towards Bloodborne than previous Dark Souls. All in all it's a good souls game, though I cannot speak for PVP content.

Pros:
From Software
Combat
Satisfying bosses
Co-op/Invasions
Respec option
Change appearance option
Outstanding Music
Amazing atmosphere
NPC questlines
Fleshed-out secret locations
Returning armor/weapons from previous titles

Cons:
A few gimmick bosses
Broken covenants ( Darkmoon )
Farming
Irithyll Dungeon jailers
Plenty of perfectly fine unused armor/weapons remain inside the game
