Love the original! Had a long history with this game back in the day. Still great and the best part? The multiplayer is around and thriving!

Good Game, Sorta gets boring if you play it too much. The community is full of hotheads. If you want a really competitive game, this is it, no one ever plays the objective and half the time people try way to hard even in casual. Outside of the community the graphics are great, the game always gets updates, and the concept is pretty awesome. Would wait for a sale.

On paper this game is a great idea. And It has beautiful graphics with an interesting concept. But you are stuck inside the same map pretty much the whole time. It feels way to repetitive and seems like there is absolteuly no where to go, no where to expand with this other than the few new areas you might discover along the way. If I could get my money back I would. I honestly dont even want to touch this game or finish it because its is just that exhausting.

This game is one of the best horror/adventure style games that I have played. For a game created in 2014, it is still a very relevant game. It's like a combination of the outlast mechanics with a prey feel to it. If you are a hardcore alien fan, this is a must buy without a question. It even implements the movie into the game itself. There aren't too many games that have a movie sequel or vise versa that actually works, but Alien isolation made that happen. The only thing I have to say about it is that it has jittery low quality cut scenes that are poor no matter the quality of your system. This is due to the loading aspect of the game while the cut scenes are playing, but the cut scenes are very few, very short and play a very little role into the story itself. This game is an easy 10/10 title

I really want to give this game a good review but this games campaign is just way to short to even be worth the time or money. This game can be easily completed in about 2-4 hours. There is only about 7 missions which each can be completed between 20-30 mins. I felt like there was so much more room for so much more but by the time the game builds up its already over. I litterally sat back and kept checking to see if there was an error because the sudden cut off at the end was just way to anti climatic. I felt like there wasent enough time for character development or anything to be done. Its like Ok theres a resistance.... now we are starting to fight back...the end and thats it. Your left with a million un answered questions and a rushed plot that isnt no where near completed.

Overview

Operation Flashpoint was a great series that essentially lead to the development of ARMA. Red River however is the last installment of the series. It gives a great insight at what war is really like in places such as Afiganistan specially starting out in the first 2 missions. The game is beautiful for a 2011 title and great for anyone who can get this game for around 5$. But the game doesent go without its flaws. There are many game breaking bugs that causes the game to crash. You cant even play the game unless you rig up some files and mess around with the game folder. Its almost like the programming team was hired off the street, or sat back and watch everyone else make the game. Also if you are a die hard Operation Flashpoint fan, or played the previous games. Dont expect this game to be anything like the originals. I was highly disapointed to not be able to search bodies, open doors, or enter every vehicle. Its like the team decided to scrub half the details out of the game that ended up make flashpoint, flashpoint. Despite all of this the game was fairly humorus, and the missions where fairly good. I personally hated the fact that they had just made it soo short. But it definately seems more story driven then the previous titles.

Froze my Gaming PC to the point where I needed to reinstall Windows, Corrupted half my files and wouldent let me turn my PC on or Off. Nearly destroyed my hardrive. WILL NEVER TOUCH AGAIN!!!

Company of heros is wayyyy better. If you want unrealistic maps that dont even come close to resembling the real landscapes and cities of WW2, play this game.

P.S Omaha Beach isnt 5 feet of sand with an entire city right on the beach, who the heck thought of that one?

This game had potential but the enemies are all the same and the combat is way to repetitive. Couldent even run the game right for the first few months without it crashing, and my computer can run most games at Ultra. It was NOT made for PC.

Ive heard alot of great things about this game. But when I played it I could not find a single open server unless I spent money on DLCs. I dident spent money on the base game just to turn around and spend another 30$ on DLCs.
