This game's pretty good, but I'm never buying another sony product in my life

This game is great, but it's a buggy mess from what I can tell. Strike groups don't select properly, units that aren't selected will accept movement orders, and the post game stats screen will linger on long after you've exited the match, as well as graphics jank and some weird collision/pathfinding issues. It's a shame because it's an excellent rts game that I don't have any other complaints about.

Randomly came across this again today. Wow. Probably one of the most depressing games I've ever bought. The gameplay was great, atmosphere, controls, it wasn't all that buggy for an early access. Content was limited but highly replayable and fun. Goals sounded realistic. Devs listened and cared about the project. This game was such an underrated masterpiece. And now it's dead. Hard not to be bitter about that, but the funding wasn't cutting it and eventually it became too much for the devs to handle. What a shame man, what a shame.

I can't suggest anyone to buy it. Multiplayer was the entire point this game, and there is simply 0 people playing it. Hopefully we will see a revival one day.

I don't like leaving a negative review, because it's playable enough, but frankly it's SEVERELY lacking in polish atm that makes the pricetag to gameplay ratio completely out.

Comparing it to DW:U, the previous game, you feel a bit more restricted, but with better direction. Ship designing is much easier to grasp compared to before and the UI is improved a lot, that was my biggest time sink in the previous game. Ship behaviour seems improved but the AI is still a little on the dumb side in general. Potential for mods is great though right now there isn't much.

I miss the old art style a lot more than I thought I would, but this is fine.

I also miss player pirate empires, which I mainly played in the original, so I hope they make a return soon.

I think this is going to be a great game in like a year. I think right now it's not worth the price. If you think it's your kinda game wishlist it or pick up DW:U, and let us suckers deal with the beta I guess.

Great game. After about a week of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with it I finally got it to run, played it one session, and it never ran again.

Honestly they shouldn't even have it on here. What a shame.

Since a recent patch they put out (Yesterday? Can't quite remember) I haven't had a single crash. That being said a lot of textures have gone absolutely potato and refuse to render correctly for minutes upon my seeing them, so good with the bad. But for the aforementioned reason, this game is now a solid yes for me. It's a lovely, unique take on RPGs and it's been a lot of fun, I've just finished my first playthrough and I'm not sure if I want to go for a 100% run now or go back through differently.
Also you get to watch a priest drunkenly vomit out of a bell tower, and later you can steal the necronomicon from the forbidden books section of a monastery.

Kinda feels like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ version of men of war 2, with lootboxes and not as many units or factions

Updating my review yet again, for the final time. While development will supposedly continue, the servers have been shut down and sales discontinued. I don't have high hopes given the track record. It's a shame, because it was a very cool concept and pretty fun game even as a raw alpha.

Pretty fun game. Unique art style, character abilities help keep things switched up, controls well and I like the pace of the combat.
Major downside is that it's unpopular. It's very hard to find a game . :(
