"To the Core" is honestly a fun ride while it lasts, but man, it's way too short for what you're paying. For its price tag, I expected a bit more bang for my buck. The biggest gripe? The endgame grind. If you're lucky and stumble upon the right items early on, you'll breeze through the final upgrades in no time. But if luck's not on your side, prepare for a long, tedious haul that could stretch out for days. It feels a bit unfair, honestly.

Overall, it's cool but not quite worth the cash unless you've got patience to spare and don't mind gambling on finding those crucial items. Maybe wait for a sale on this one.

The best singleplayer game Ive ever played!

It's kinda like Metro 2033, just a bit spruced up. The story's and the level design are a bit better, though a couple bugs might have you hitting restart the game.

But the gunplay? Still feels stale.
And the endgame? Kinda negates the whole grind-and-save thing, because you get handed everything for free, which is a bummer.

Bottom line: it's a better Metro, but could use a little more polish. Cool story, same-old guns, great atmosphere, and an endgame that's a bit of a letdown.

The game could use some serious improvements in terms of guidance. I often found myself lost and confused about where to go or what to do next (especially at the library), leading me to resort to YouTube walkthroughs more times than I'd like to admit. Furthermore, the presence of game-breaking bugs, which required restarting the game entirely, is a significant downside and disrupts the flow of gameplay.
