Ok,First things first.
I love the SCP Franchise as a whole But this game falls short where it counts most.
Best way i can describe it is the game is AMAZING in chapter 1-2 with the visual style in chapter 1 With the sand and grain textures and the Horror of Manikins in Chapter 2 was a 10/10 with the music and over all vibe.

Sadly this is where the horror and immersion ends for me anyway.

Best way i can relate it to is to the Evil with in Games.
They are a 10/10 RIGHT AT THE START!
They hit hard and pump you up...then only to become a Last of us Rip off or re-skin.
It just feels cheep and lack luster. It almost feels like the game got Blue balled half way in development

What i feel like is happening is that after the first 2 Chapters the game main writer and artist, got swapped out for a group of lack luster feeling that is just sad to say it makes me lose the will to even FINISH the game.

That brings me to my last point.
The final chapter.

This is by far the worst chapter in the game i feel as it drags on for so long it takes up over 80% of the game. I have 4 hours of game time and 3 of those hours were fighting Manikins

{Side note please do NOT Nerf them to improve Frame rate. I love how my game lags as they rag doll and Fall into walls,fly and clip into the ground 10/10}

My only silver line is that the ending of the longest chapter had a GOOD ENDING!

I would have Uninstalled and refunded the game if i had spent all that time in the last part only to get a cheep,lackluster ending that has no love or substance to the SCP Franchise.

I will now talk about the biggest prob i have with the game.
There is NO STORY!
Maybe i am just to dumb to understand but i need a Youtube video to explain what is the Plot of this game!

It just feels like a bunch of Mini games and a few small puzzles a 9 year old can figure out.
This game MUST have an ARG or SOMETHING there is NOWAY that this game has me so confused about the over ark-ing plot of the game.

This game MUST have something i am missing this game MUST have an ARG or easter eggs that i just am to stupid to figure or find out!
There is no way that it is this empty. If i figure it out i will edit my review but as it stands i have no idea how to do the secrets of the ARG or any of the hidden story with in the main plot.

I shouldn't need some one to have to explain to me how to modify a corrupted sound file to take me to a secret website and then that will take me to a hidden Youtube video with a song about {SCP-3301 The Cicada }



Over all Rate 4/10
Grate start and amazing Rag dolls with an ending that drags on for to long with the bare minimum of a decent ending that i am happy with.

For the price of $15 i still can not recommend a game that takes Mat-Pat to Solve the Deeper story of the SCP Secret files.

Side Note: They got the name perfect because i couldn't understand or find ANY of the secrets or Easter eggs inside the game other then a picture of the team that made the game on a shelf inside a Locker.

I have over 12 Hours and have not won a single time. 10/10 would crab game again!

I beat this game with 7 people in a discord call
This is one of the hardest things i have ever done as a team
We beat this game in under the 2 hour refund time!
Only good thing i can say is i now have a new song for beat saber
{Summer Never Ends} 10/10 song for a game that has a dabbing Banana in the steam store sneak peek at the bottom of the shop BUT NOT IN THE REAL GAME~!

I think i have smooth brain. I see very high reviews and a lot of love fro this game. I went to video's and tips and tricks videos. But i just can't understand the joy in shooting an animal and then watching it run away only for you to spend 20+ mins looking for it only to lose it and get attacked by a bear or fox. I also do not understand why my guy has the legs of a new born horse. The run is more of a jog at best and the sound is more on the nose then a sam fisher game. Except it is just boring for me. I shoot the thing,it runs away. I get lost then i waist 40 mins of my life to find the skill points needed to be good are so high caped i wanted to mod this game to run at 2x speed and for max skills just to hunt a basic bore. I would 100% recommend this game if i at least liked to watch paint dry. I am sorry but for me this is trash. With over 1000+ games in my library i am happy to say i am under the 2 hour mark and will NOT be adding this to my games.

Pros:
1)Shot a dear and watched it tank 2 head shots. (Honestly made me laugh so this is a pro)
2)Bears are easy to hunt because they spawn so often
3)The Rain is very VERY nice of an effect like a wallpaper and i would 100% leave the game running as a $60 wallpaper engine if i could force it to rain 24/7

Cons:
1)High skill caps
2)I am smooth brain
3)Not fun. (Just makes me mad how i can't get enjoyment out of it)
4) Both love and hate how much of a tank animals are.
5)the gun optics are trash. I think Metro has better sights and they are made out of Glasses and are cracked
6)FOG God there is so much fog! Why? The first mission makes you go to a tower to look at the area and there was fog so i spotted nothing.
7){Small prob} You have to un-scope to re chamber a bullet. [That is not the prob] The thing is when you ♥♥♥♥ the hammer back it makes a sound that scares everything away.

It's so good I skipped the election and work just on choosing what to build first.

I am Offended Steam even recommended this to me. I see the good reviews and game play and was SOLD! Load the game up and everything 2 shots me! Healing is useless. The animals have Agro range to the flipping moon,and worst of all there WAS NO NPC RAIDERS! I didn't see a SINGLE gun in my 30 deaths. I even got an achievement with it crashing after my 30th death. A reward for being bad at the game. I hope Steam never recommends me ANYTHING like this again.
P.S. Even if this game was FREE i could not recommend this. Play The Forest or the Long Dark if you wanna Better game.

This is the ONLY game were Cup Noodles is a SSS Tier item 10/10
