One of the best-ever RPG games, as well as the best Fallout title.

Fallout 4 isn't necessarily a bad game. It does suffer from a poor narrative, limited illusion of choice, and most recently totally-not-paid mods.

As of writing this review, Terraria is definitely worth it's full price and is a steal on sale. This is of course if side-scrolling, platforming, building, exploration, mining, and fighting with some light rpg elements is your style. You can spend hours if not days just exploring and building, as well as build up your gear with a fair amount of depth to it.

The hours on Steam are a fraction of the time I've played Resident Evil 4; prior to this release I played the Gamecube, Playstation 2, and Wii releases. This was the first Resident Evil I played, and one of my first M-rated game and I'm glad it was. Personally, and like popular opinion, this is one of the best in the franchise.

The game follows and pays homage to the older titles, while changing things up for the better. Its tank-like controls from the first 3 games is now bearable with the 3rd-person/over-shoulder camera, but adds some tension in combat. While some/large parts of the game are escort segments, Ashley's AI is relatively painless and isn't too difficult to manage(It's a breeze if you unlock a certain something). The visuals are dated after 10 years (Writing this review as of 2015) but manage to maintain the creepy silent hill-esque environment. The tension and atmoshpere of survival horror is definitely present, while keeping combat much less stiff than the previous. Progression feels good and replayability is definitely there. The weapons come in just the right amount and each feel different in their own right. The story is kinda cheesy, but with the "virus/parasites" at hand what can you expect. The extra gamemodes add a more action-y way to play while netting shiny rewards and expanding on some parts of the main story. I don't to give anything away or spoil anything, but Resident Evil 4 is definitely worth picking up if you are already a fan of the series, played it before, or never played a Resident Evil game.

(Also ♥♥♥♥ Regenetors, those things made me shut of the game the very first time I ecountered them)

Actual Thoughts (Edited 1/2/21)

If you're someone who likes sci-fi, a unique art style, consistent updates, multiplayer, customization, or just low on funds and looking for something to play I can definitely. Given, Warframe is and has been a game undergoing constant change. As of 2021 however, many of the updates post-August 2018 have felt largely stagnant with little change to large issues in the game with a greater focus on attracting newer players than retaining long time players.

The art style stands out from many other games, combining a unique blend of organic and mechanical designs. From the highly customize-able Warframes that you control, to the enemy factions, to the areas you traverse.

Warframe's third-person game play has received numerous changes that alter minor mechanics to full reworks. The movement system is by far one of the most enjoyable parts of game play. Whether you want to leisurely stroll through an area, to flying between objectives in a flurry of spins and somersaults like everyone else does.

Combat blends gun play and close-quarters melee enjoyably, with a range of weapons to choose and customize as well as the unique powers of the Warframes themselves. Warframe features a damage system that allows for some in-depth number crunching and min-maxing for very specialized builds that unfortunately isn't always transparent to newer players.

Progression in Warframe is it's grind, that at some points can feel aggravating with the numerous RNG walls. However, nearly everything can be acquired with time. The only items truly locked behind microtransactions are slots and cosmetics. Requiring slots that must be purchased with premium currency is something that I've always disagreed with since first playing, some could argue it as a form of progression. Even then, the premium currency can be traded for certain in-game items.

Customization is something that Warframe doesn't lack in the slightest. Selecting the 5 individual colors on your Warframes, weapons, companions, landing crafts, and all their accessories independently is something some players may spend many hours on. A fair chunk of the cosmetics are only accessible through premium currency however, exempt a handful of rather recent cosmetics not accessible through said premium currency.

Microtransactions in this game can carry a somewhat high price tag when comparing how much the premium currency, "platinum", can get you. There are login rewards that occasionally give discounts though.

All in all if you're looking for a free to play to play by yourself or with friends, Warframe is something that you should try out at least once.

I hadn't been a Borderlands person until I finally put my money down for this game. I glanced ovewr the first, and gave a nod or two to the second before I purchased it during a sale. Not to far into the game and the humor, artstyle, gunplay, and design captivated me; and for the next few weeks the game had me hooked. Blasting everything in sight with a weapon that shot corrosive bullets, to opening every thing I could see to find a gun that would blast things apart even harder. Finding a truck load of little pop culture references in the world, to hunting for very specific achievements. The game took quite a while to wear at my determination to explore, then, there was dlc. I didn't purchase much aside from the Mechromancer pack, which I love. The support around the game was a defining part of why I made the purchase. With codes being released to get goodies every now and then, I find my self booting up to do so, but the become occupied with blasticating everything in sight.
The mechanics felt relatively solid, the rpg elements of levels and skill trees flowed nicely with the heated fps combat. From investing skill points into passive effects that would help your character's survival, to upgrades to the character's special ability allowing more murder-kill-age in a fight. At points the game would seem a bit broken, but all games have flaws, and these breaks can be overcome. The story and characters were some of my more favored, as they seemed unique to a certain extent. Borderlands 2 was a game I grabbed in a sale and do not regret buying, a game I can easily give an 8 out of 10.

With hundreds of hours logged, there is no surprise that I love this game.(and more hours to come) It has it's flaws and kinks, sure, every game always has those. But for a free-to-play game that Valve has so generously kept free for so long, it's wonderful. With the stereotype of hat-mongering aside, the game is possibly one of the most well built and balanced. For an f2p, the balance is astounding. Never have I found, or bought/seen/etc, an item that sets anyone above the rest.(With the exception of certain hats making you look pro) Every item, that wasn't cosmetic, was never an upgrade or downgrade from the original weapon, side-grades that are more or less situational. The community has to be one of my favorites, sure you get the unpleasent people who will screeech at you for not playing the metagame or something like that. There have been really cool players that I've met, from serious and helpful, to silly and fun.
I have spent a sum of money in TF2 that could have been much more useful elsewhere, yes, and hence I was no longer "an f2p". But the game does not require it at all, I found most of my weapons without paying a cent. Yeah I spent my money on dumb stuff, but I felt rewarded for the transaction and that I gave money to a company/developer/publisher that I truly like.
The mechanics however may deter some other players as it's different than most FPS games. Characters have flaws and downsides, requiring their team to help them out. Every time, a team that works together, new or veteran, has proven to win and/or be extremely effective. When players cooperate and maximize their class' effectiveness, it's really fun.
Overall, TF2 has been one of my favorites and still is. The lovable, quirky, sometimes flat out wonky, but incredibly well made and polished, shooter from Valve is a worthy game to pick up, f2p or not.

One of my all time favorites. I never really played the original two before this one, god forbid the second installment. The mechanics of the gameplay work wonderfully, although sometimes leaning more to the stealth and non-lethal approach. Tailoring my character to be able to galantly gun down a small military or quietly sneak through them, silently picking them off. The story excellently ties in with gameplay, the entire environment helps drive the story. The newspapers, emails, conversations between npcs, the televisions all help drive the story. The writing of the character(s) is excellent, the main roles in the story have incredibly well fleshed out personalities which further cotribute to the mood and overall plot. Weapons feel very well balanced, and can become monsters when fully upgraded. Along with certain character upgrades, combinations can become extremely effective. Upgrades however, are rewarded to those who earn them. The game however did not present itself as easy, and required every approach to be methodical and tactical in execution, making the outcome only so much more rewarding. From start to finish, the game immersed me, and remains one of my favorites. A solid 9/10
