A revolutionary game in the FPS shoot to loot genre that has been around for a hot second. Unlike other subscription based games it has changed and learned from its community for the better. Countless memories with people who are not only friends but now like family through playing for almost 3 years now. Whether its just slapping through strikes, brawling it out in crucible, or combining our firepower for a raid, it has been one hell of a journey. Heres to lightfall!

Alright so my first review came out a fair bit swinging, but now after 2 updates the game overall feels better with more ends tied, features added, and bugs fixed.

Bonelab is gonna feel forever shorter than boneworks there is no way around that from a story perspective without expanding from the day 1 content that I experienced.

However where Bonelab excels in is giving the players tools and guidance to create, which reminds me of one of my favorite games from when I was a kid, Little Big Planet. In the similar sense of the prize bubbles from levels being collectibles you can use elsewhere to enhance the experience or to create and share.

But at that very point is where the cookie crumbles, for the accessibility to player made content within Bonelab is attained, as of December of 2022, either using the ingame menu or using a third party mod site. I highly dislike the scroll and page design making it very difficult to sort and search for what you are looking for or are recommended to try. Overall making me feel overwhelmed with options.

Gameplay overall feels very polished, taking much of what they learned from boneworks with a couple more tricks such as body manipulation and sitting.

Leaning into the body manipulation; I found myself swapping very little until I really saw the differences between the body types and the tasks they could accomplish, to which I took full advantage of getting into places that had no meaning to the levels looking for secrets that only existed in my head.

What is funny, is that I'm sure a little big planet game also featured body swapping.

Anyways, in short Bonelab may not be a game in the sense of replay-ability from the story, but rather from the content the community provides, to which suffers from inaccessiblity from the provided in game source of community content.

As of 2021 I have 2000 hrs in SteamVR, so suffice to say I'm no noob to what feels good and what feels bad.

Now I even played this when i had a Vive, which the controls worked and made sense FOR THAT CONTROLLER AND DIDN'T PLAY LIKE A PILE OF GARBAGE!

With the index controller there is no official support for smooth turning, snap turning is your only choice with blackouts every time.
I understand that really there is not a huge player base of Payday 2 that would ever PREFER to play in VR, but I do wish more polish went its way so that it could be more playable.

Quite honestly I also understand this game is made on spaghetti code and a driving game so look here is what I am hoping for.

Payday 3 VR out of the gate with less comfort settings and smooth turning and locomotion. I know most people don't wanna vomit going 35 miles and hour akimboing shotguns doming cops, but sometimes I like to watch my computer tower light up like a furnace full of fire.

Thank you for coming to my DUKEtalk.

Being that this is one of the few online shooters for VR that has polish beyond just a kickstarter says alot. The effort put forth shows and the dedicated modding community tenfold makes this game future proof as a purchase.

This game in as few words as possible is the most immersive game for VR ever created. Even though I play this with the HTC Vive and an old 1060 6 GB, it still holds up.

Fantastic simulation of munitions against intestine cased adversaries.

With almost 300 hours in this game I can say that sums up the entire experience.

This game was a instant classic with lines that gave you the giggles and others that pissed you square off. Fallout New Vegas, made by bethesda and scripted together by Obsidian and they are returning for Fallout 4.

More on with this game, the open world sandbox "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥-I-ran-out-of-stimpacks" first person shooter that has aged quite well considering the modding community has stuck with it for the last 5 years. Though the game has some small and some major bugs, but it is without doubt that there was effort and love put into this, over most Triple A Titles like the assassin's creed series which lasted in my heart up to 2.

In the end I would recommend this game without a doubt in my mind because the game molds to you and how you play making you feel unique in your play style.

War, War never changes. But men do, through the roads they walk.

To be 100% this is just a remake of the original half-life
When I pulled it up and played it, it brought legit tears in my eyes seeing classic moments re-done in full HD.
I'm glad this was done by such a great team of just modders who just did this for fun.
I hope for there to be co-op in the future but for now I am more than satisfied with my purchase.
For a rating of this game I would give it a 9.75/10 because I did notice minor physics bugs with the scientists' ties flying around but I am reminded this is all in early access for 19.99$. Another issue is multiplayer giving me a hard time with just running it but it gets away once more with the golden plated words, Early access.

I hope to see more in the future.
