This is a mix. On one hand, it's a solid game. It's just......

....So far, I find it extremely inferior to both Banished and Kingdom's Reborn. It's similar. Very similar in fact. But has a few tweeks that I think both Banished and Kingdom's reborn did much better.

CON:
The worst part of this game is the story mode, with "fetch/growth" quests. very poorly made. Makes it seem like a story but it's just the same thing over and over, only more advanced each time. There are some events with choices that seem that it will matter, but at least unless you play on high difficulty, it will not. I feel it's a bit too easy to build the city when you can get enough food for the first 10 years with just 1 fisherman's hut, a gatherer and hunter. (all fully upgraded)

PRO:
Upgrades works well and the toggle between visual are nice, It's not difficult to keep people from riot or dying so there are no need to expand as often as you need in other games. In both the other games I mentioned you sometimes need to build 20 houses when advancing to a new areas. You don't need that here.

Overall: 7/10

- Combat: 10/10
- Graphic: 7/10
- Roleplaying: 6/10
- Story: 4/10
- Game mechanics: 8/10

First I didn't like it due to I felt the story and the narritive between the characters was lame. And I kinda still think that. But the combat really shines through as a glorius example how they have made most of their effort on the core gameplay part (the combat) and not the structure. So even it's not a perfect game (imo), it's a damn good one and I fully recommend it to players that want a great game about how to play DnD 5e on a computer.

I also recommend the full edition adding the additional classes and sub classes, because most of the better and interesting classes like Druid or the Ranger Swift Sword etc are behind these DLC.

So if you are tired about Baldurs Gate 3, or you want more like it or you want to practice on a game to get the mechanics of Dnd 5e this is a great game to pick up. But if you wan't a story driven game with bunch of interesting quest and funny moments, nah you can pass it.

Overall:
Great game. 8/10 Has the general CRPG feel to it, still it also feels a bit flat sometimes. Need some more love and it could easily become one of the greater games in the genre. If there is ever planning to release an improved sequal I will be the first in line of purhcase. I enjoyed it.

Pro:
- The lore is solid
- Realism and feels autenthic
- Combat are really fun
- Story is engaging
- Lots of flexibility in the level system

Cons:
- I don't like timed quests
- Need more areas to visit
- Dialogues are usually sub optimal
- The AI are a bit stupid (most of the time)

My favorite DLC. Not only does it bring one of the most interesting "human" factions, but it also gives you the best soundtrack in the game "unstable molecules". The song alone is worth this dlc.

Tier wise they are B+ or A-. Slow expansion and also very dust(gold) dependant, but their Teleport ability can't be underestimated. Instead of multiple fleets you can manage with 1-2 massive fleets the entire game focusing on quality instead of quantity.

Deep. Loved the story.

Understandable and fun. Can even be played Co-op mode with a friend.

I did a lets play live stream trough the story. Around 2 hours long, but most of the time was me having no clue how to move forward.

I main CRPG games like this, and it's in the AtomRPG genre. It's a great game with good narritive.

EDIT3: 300h completed game just now. GOTY. Serious contender for GOTD.

EDIT2: 250 hours in, still not completed as there are so much fantastic stuff to do. It's a masterpiece. Worth every penny. Top 5 crpg of all time. Even top 10 in the RPG genre as well.

EDIT: 100 hours in, I rate it 9,5/10. Top list of modern CRPG. Just behind Divinity Original Sin 2.

I personally did not like Pathfinder: Kingmaker over a lot of reasons. THIS game however have not disapoint. There are tons of classes to play, and multiple different playstyles to be played. Even the crusade are a bit basic, it's a basic in the terms of Heroes of might and magic style. Love it.

Not only are the story more interesting than the first one, it holds a very high standard in all CRPG.

I feel Owlcat have hit the nail on the head this time and I'm really looking forward to replay this game over the years to come.

Early Access Review
Overall totally worth its money. I'm not a horror fan, but I can easily handle this. Great balance.

+ Unique experience solo and in a team
+ Very addicting and ocationally intense
+ Great feel of being ghost hunters.

- Hard for new players with lackluster tutorial. (suggest watching YT)
- Still early access (13.06-21) so expect bugs, glitch and server issues
- No way to deal with toxic people once a game start (online)
