Been with the game since the earliest days of early access and the full release is here and it is glorious. Do yourself a favor and buy this game, it's roguelite Doom with massive charm and a killer soundtrack.

It feels like a hollow shell of its predecessor and it is filled with bugs. Co-op is a joke with that point especially, my partner and I experienced softlocks constantly. The story was also a joke and most of the characters felt like filler. Gameplay was still pretty good when it wasn't screwing up, but weapons degrade way too quickly and the repair mechanic from the first game is stripped down to a one time repair to the weapon when you attach a mod to it (side note, mods felt underwhelming most of the time).

The first game just plays way better and doesn't contain nearly as many confusing design decisions.

Literally strapped nukes to my fists on loader and one shot the final boss after some crazy setup building. Did I mention loader is spiderman as well?

The best pirating experience since Pirates of the Caribbean Online and AC4: Black Flag. If you have the friends to spare and have a love for loot, shanties, grog, and or vast adventures on the high seas then this game is for you.
