Hope you weren't waiting on the multiplayer that was promised, as it's been abandoned in it's current bug-addled state by a lying dev who takes credit for others hard work.

Absolutely do NOT support someone like that. Vexlands is the next best thing, and it wasn't made by a POS :)

Playing Starfield put into perspective how good No Man's Sky is, especially after the years of support and passion. Honestly, I would recommend this OR The Outer Worlds over Starfield. Both do it better, are less expensive at FULL PRICE, and will go on a better sale than Starfield will anytime soon.

Graveyard Keeper is at it's best when you first start. The sense of exploration and discovery in this game is fantastic, and the feeling of unlocking that next step is unmatched well into the story. The map starts off feeling huge, but time and familiarity eventually bring everything together, so you always know where you're going. The art style is phenomenal as well, especially if you're a fan of the pixel style. There's tons of cute details and animation that bring a fantastic sense of life to the game and it's characters. Speaking of, characters are interesting and diverse, with twists and humorous moments throughout. I highly recommend all of the DLC's, as playing the game with them from the start makes the experience that much more enjoyable, with more story lines and expanded mechanics to take advantage of.

All in all, I highly recommend Graveyard Keeper.

Besides the visual variety of enemies, the only other thing this game does well, is the introduction of a co-op mode to the genre. Otherwise, it fails to innovate in any meaningful way, other than making standard systems used in similar games arguably worse. The rate at which currency is gained for long term gameplay upgrades is abysmal in comparison to the cost/value ratio of said upgrades. More often than not, any item found during a run is just down-right detrimental, offering a negligible percentile increase in exchange for a punishing gameplay change. Also, the addition of a final boss has now increased the time it takes for an individual run, making the lack of innovative game mechanics even more obvious, as the increased time adds nothing of value except reskinned enemies. Honestly, even if you're a fan of the genre as I am, there are other games that do it better for less, and Bounty of One is a skip.

It suffers from "My guns do no damage but they kill me instantly" and unfortunately, the game didn't feel fun enough to warrant learning the truth. There are a multitude of games that do mechs, hero shooters, and teamplay better than this one does.

Visually adorable and with enough of it's own interesting mechanics to stand apart from the games it takes clear inspiration from. Fun by yourself, and absolutely better with friends. Even if those friends put hive spikes at the end of the road for you to die upon. Unfortunately for them, I know where they live.

What an astounding game. The visuals, the sound design, the combat, the skill mechanics, and the level design. All incredibly enjoyable. The bosses are interesting and unique, there's strategy involved in equipment and skills, and it all comes together in such an incredibly unique style that I can't get enough of.

However. The last level is the literal worst designed level I have ever had the displeasure of playing. I understand what the developers were going for, but it does not play well with the mechanics implemented currently into the game. Until something is changed, I cannot recommend this game for that simple fact.
