Playtime :
8 Hour [Main Story]
(On Progress)(Soon)[Platinum]

It's a Brawler/Musou (Dynasty Warriors) Spin-offs neptunia series

First thing i noticed that the game is quite half-baked for a game.
The gameplay is there, the dialogue is there, the modes and even cheats is there

But barely any content, the story is quite non-existant as far as i know, the enemies, the arena, the music and everything is recycled from older game [Seriously CH, Stop that ♥♥♥♥]

The gameplay is solid but very shallow. There is barely any depth, no multiple moveset, no multiple skills and even EXE drive. The lily Drive is just "I Win" button in most of the time.

Overall, I get it when it's on sale so for a 15$ games it's pretty much worth the price it's asking for and i quite recommend it.

P.S : The costume break gets in the way of gameplay to some degree. Musou/Brawler games are known by their speed of gameplay and small cutscene inbetween fight can be annoying

You play Neptunia series for the comfy and story.

It's literally abriged version of video game history. From video games crash to current day social games in mobile phones. It's really fun to see how the story unfold and GET the reference the game trying to say.

Just dont expect anything in gameplay part since it's the same gameplay from RB1, with some revision in here and there, stella's dungeon was fun but the challanges [in which certain gameplay element locked behind it] was ridiculous

for a 40% off at launch, it was and fun experience. Worth buying for sure

Side note :
Normal End: 19 hour
Good End : 32 hour
True End : 32 hour
After Story Extra : 38 hour

tried to put it on SSD, didnt see any significant performance, there was a bug where in EXE drive, some character blinking out

Playtime : 35 Hour [First Run] , [On Process of NG & NG+]
edit:
50 hour for all NG + all Achievement

Sequel of the Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1

Story :

You now play as the sisters of the original MC from Re;Birth 1, Fairly light hearted and fun.

My complaint is it have several intentional mistranslation in favor of meme. My japanese is 0 to none, but i do notice several mistranslation in the dialogue, mostly replacing simple word with more meme flavored sentence. Some might said it is part of "Localization" as the original japanese joke might be hard to understand by english audience

Caution : Might cause anxiety, extreme discomfort and losing faith in humanity

Why would you do that CH? Bloody hell

Gameplay :
Same battle system like Re;Birth, now with 4 character limit instead of 3. Everything else is SAME, from Character, Skills, EXE, Enemy and even dungeon.

There is also new side mini-game of "Stella's dungeon" where you assign a minion to enter dungeon and search items for you. The system is intended for vita and it's VERY unfitting for PC game, you could by pass it by changing your PC's time

note : CH is known for re-using assets from their previous game, I heard all Neptunia games are like this, so expect it to be same in Re;Birth 3

Sound :Similar to Re;Birth 1, it have english and japanese voice, SOME of the event are unvoiced, which really disappoint me considering ALL of Re;Birth 1 event are voiced

There are some BGM that is re-used from Re;Birth 1

Bought it on Release [50% OFF] , quite dissappointed that in less than a month it got 70% off on Steam summer sale. Regardless of that, i still think even at 50%, it's worth a purchase, get all DLC too if possible [they only expand character level and give DLC weapon, DO NOT USE them until you finished 1st playthrough because it's very OP and may ruin your experience]

Tl;DR :
It's okay, Highly suggest to buy it if you know relatively well of Japanese games and Japanese industry because it still have tons of games [and console wars] reference in it, Especially if you are a fan of Falcom games

buy/play it for the characters because it's only "good" thing of the series as gameplay can be very repetitive and grind is still as bad as Korean MMORPG

Playtime : 27 Hour [First Run] , 33(5 hour) for NG

If you love japanese games, game makers/studio and a series then this is a perfect game for you.
[There are various references, to name a few(.hack, tekken, senran kagura, steins;gate, etc)]

Story : It's pretty much game console + game makers join in and fight one evil faction. If you love lighthearted story, this is good one

Gameplay : Basic, Easy to play, but VERY VERY grindy, expect tons of grinding, They reuse the dungeons, TONS of dungeons although i give it a pass because it is a VITA game [keep that in mind]

another note : they throw all their budget on VA instead of gameplay department, go figure

Sound : Japanese VA is top tier with several huge name in industry.

I bought it at 10$ for base game and 2.5$ for all DLC, is it worth it? Yes In My Opinion

if you love japanese game, and know japanese industry, then go for it

Edit: Platinum-ed It [100% achievement ]
