Bland shooting, painfully recycled level design, completely interchangeable enemy units, terrible story writing and scummy monetization all combine into a waste of 70+ GB you're better off using for more competent shooters. Literally just buy DOOM.

Ok, i'll be honest. I haven't finished this game, but just trying out the controls is enough to give me aids. I've played through 3 chapters and I can see a lot of neat ideas, but it's locked behing a torrent of questionable design decisions, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ controls and a downright sinful PC port with loads of video and audio issues.

It's also quite apparent that from early promotional material this was completely mutilated by the publishers.

Basically, what you're getting out of this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Gears of War. Its your bog-standard cover shooter with a neat throwing disc thingy and some damn fine weapons. The shotgun's good, the glaive is cool, but overall it's not worth it. Check out Warframe instead. It's free, lets you separately bind Use and Melee, and isn't a cover-based cold-war shooter with a HUD that fades out and no crosshair during hipfire.

It's a good game, but it's not DOOM in the slightest. It's a lot slower and atmospheric, and it's great for the most part, but the slow pace and terrible sound design don't lend themselves well to hitscan enemies and the DOOM franchise in general. Not really a must-own.

10/10, the best Lilly Satou simulator on the market.

Pretty entertaining. Doesn't sustain the attention span for too long, but it's still pretty fun. At about a dollar, it's pretty much worth every penny. It's like Serious Sam but with way more zombie boars.

If you like playing an obsticle course where obsticles can be seen in the later levels, don't buy this.

It's uh...burnout? I guess?

So first off, the DLC cars don't work. I'd reccomend using an unlocker.

Second, however, this isn't the best Burnout game. It's a really good entry, but it's still far from as good as 3. The cars are mostly cool. I'd like it if there were less wonky paintjobs for the 'upgrades' as it were, but over all they're pretty cool. The driving feels a little more weighty and sometimes it feels like you're going faster than you ever could have in the previous titles.

Then you miss a turn in the race event or get creamed by an Inferno Van coming out of the left entry to the junction.

This is an open world Burnout game. Which is both good and horribly bad. It stays open world even when you're racing, and whilst there are Burnout 1-style turn signals, you're going to be staring more at the minimap than anywhere else, which will make you crash into either a wall, oncoming traffic, or an already crashed rival several times.

The open world setting only really works well with the Market Man, Stunt Run and Burning Route events. The Races require navigating an entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ city as opposed to navigating a long track with shortcuts (which we were taught to do in Revenge and minus the shortcuts in Takedown).

I'd recommend just getting Burnout 3. The only real painful race in 3 is the US Circuit Racer Grand Prix.

It plays like you took cocaine and decided to act out The Crank 2 after a D&D game gone awry.

The only things I miss from the original DOOMs are the original models and sound design. This has it all. Over the top gore, over the top weaponry, a mixture of linear and nonlinear levels, secrets, and fast-paced combat that will make you squirt. It also has a serious plotline combined with a faceless nameless voiceless protagonist who just want to rip and tear some guts with his night train. Combine that with a grand total of around 3 cutscenes and 5 scripted sequences, and you've got what is quite possibly the best DOOM yet.

10/10 buy it now. It's multiplayer is bland but if you buy any DOOM title for the multiplayer you're doing something horribly ass-backwards down the line. The only thing this game suffers from is badassery overload.
