OK wow, the game is nowhere near done when you first roll credits. Got me down the rabbit hole now. Or should I say Rabbit Well ?

Im enjoying the new update.

Pls fix the armory eating my armor when I modify my ship though :( I now wont use armory at all because of this even though I like the idea of it.

the game is fun, enjoying it a lot but the storyline has one specific thing that really really bothers me.

As far as I am aware there is no such thing as energy shielding in the aliens universe but it becomes a major plot point in the game at one stage to get something to "boost the otagos shields"

Seems to me that there were a few people involved in the writing that had zero respect for the universe and just included random generic sci fi ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Also its annoying that the pulse rifles just sound like normal guns, it couldnt have been hard to include the iconic sound of them firing in the game.

Other than that I recommend it.

Horribly balanced game, I got soft locked into being forced to lose every good knight I had in my second mission out of the tutorial because it suggested i try the mission with only 3 knights and an automatic event had made me lose my healer for 40 days.

I didn't realise there is an auto save at the start of the mission that locks you in and saves over anything else you have with no method of aborting the mission. The mission parameters were like

"this is an easy mission its almost no challenge at all"

I was like alright ill try it with my apothacery out but my other guys seem pretty strong..... Nope

Insane amounts of enemies, I have to kill two giant plant things with 30+ health each that spray crazy permanent debufs that melt my knights on its own without factoring in the crazy overtuned enemies. So now im stuck with the prospect of doing the god awful long and intrusive tutorial over again or just letting my knights all die and starting from scratch. What an awful way for a singleplayer game to punish new players.

Its actually crazy, whoever signed off on this as "normal" difficulty needs to have their head examined.

Do not buy this game if you value your time and energy.

What a fortune, a privilege, a joy it is to have had such an experience. It leaves me hopeful that as a community - as a world - there is time for us to become our greatest selves, as great as we ever could dream of in our wildest, most ambitious visions for a brighter future.

Games kinda boring tbh, also the Dev or whoever is behind their socials is a nutcase.

This game feels like its not fun on purpose, I decided I wasn't going to give it any more of my time was when I realised that the enemy magically know all the positions of your units and will refuse to enter range unless they're absolutely guaranteed to trade damage evenly. This was most noticeable on the mission where you have to destroy some AA, I decided to bring in 8 TOW launchers and 2 HMG cars to kill any infantry trying to close in from the treeline. I placed the TOW's in good ambush positions from the deployment and immediately set them up.

The AI ♥♥♥♥♥footed around for tens of turns refusing to close in because it magically knew I had a line of TOW launchers ready to nuke their normally super aggressive tanks.

Super disappointed because I usually love zachtronic games

Definitely do not recommend this anti-fun game.

Do not bother with this game, its Janky as hell
