Only 36 minutes of gameplay - then request refund (do not expect a complex review).
I do not have a problem with checkpoint-based saving, but it has to make sense, like in Dead Space. Not placing a checkpoints right before a somewhat risky encounter is just painful. I am not sure who enjoys skipping cutscenes, roaming around the map, and following the same tutorial guidelines over and over again. Definitely not me. Dificult game does not automatically mean that you have to punish player for every mistake by making him repeat same stuff like monkey, at least let him skip that tutorial crap.

The story also seemed a bit corny. I mean, you play as a super high-ranking officer authorized to initiate a protocol that wipes out friendly ships, yet a common soldier refuses to call security when you order him to do so. In nother scene you find wounded dying man and after he pass out/dies, you are like, meh, whatever I should go further not starting alarm or something.

Maybe it all gets better, but I am too impatient to risk that it won’t.

The gameplay is very good and the environment is top notch. With that being said, the game still has a lot of bugs, ugly character models and a terrible millennial writing story. Recommend to buy this on a sale.

Even on the easiest mode this game is hard. Mostly because there is a never ending stream of enemies. Why are most all these type games like this. I know I'm not real good at them but I'm not real bad either. I would like this game if the easy mode was actually easy and when you clear out the enmies they stay dead, per say. Resources are tight and at the beginning you can only carry 4 and if you're full you can't pick up any more you find to take back with you.
Then there is the fact there is checkpoint saves only so when you die (and you will, allot) you have to go way back and start over again.
Frustration is not what I play video games for.
If these are your style games then you will probably like this.
I'll stick with with my FPS RPG myself, there isn't an endless stream of enemies in most all of them.
