I have more hours in this game than Elden Ring now

First of all, this game is great at its core. Everyone knows of this series because it's a classic and well-developed game time and time again. It may be frustrating to learn, but it feels amazing when you actually execute things the way you've practiced over and over. However... Unfortunately this installment has been consumed by greedy developers that want to milk every cent out of you if you want to play the game the way you want to. More than half the characters are locked between DLC, you can't try their trials out first anymore to see if they're worth buying, they removed the ability to get in-game currency from the main story that would normal help you unlock a character, and there are ads all over the place for things you should buy. It's really unfortunate that the game has taken this route, but if you can get past all of that, the game is definitely worth picking up if you have the time and patience to sink into it.

With Blackout now available and the seemingly neverending reign of Fortnite in the BR market, there really is almost no reason to play this game. Very laggy and clunky with slow-paced gameplay. I used to enjoy it, but there are just much better options now. At least this set the bar for games in the past.

Honestly I really love this series and this game. I've put thousands of hours total across all three games, they're amazing. However, I can't recommend this PC port. It crashes, its framerate is capped without modding, it takes a lot of set up just to make playable. If you can get past all the issues though, go ahead and buy it for $20. But then again, there's the remaster coming out soon for only twice the price so you might as well get that. Sorry, but they really messed up with this port.

Definitely recommend if you're looking for more of a time waster without a lot of dedication. Matches end usually within 10-15 minutes. Great fun with friends as well as solo.

Only downsides are the community, it doesn't run very well, and the time it takes to find a game as a survivor can take a while at higher ranks unless you enjoy playing with 300 ping.

If you're hesitant about buying, wait for a sale. It very commonly goes for $10 whenever it has the chance, and I find it to be a steal :) Hope this helps whoever reads this.

9/10 awesome game. I have it on Xbox and loved it and just had to buy the Ultimate Edition on sale for PC. If you like FPS' and RPGs, GET THIS. SO FUN MY GAWD I LUV IT.

Cool FPS. I enjoy wave based games and this creepy, semi-old, still updated one is fun to play with friends. If you like FPS' and wave based games as well, I'd recommend waiting for it to go on sale and get it. It's on sale quite often and always during the Summer/Winter sales Valve does. Great deal, around $3-5 so you might as well.

Great game. A bit buggy since it's in alpha but besides that it's awesome. I am so glad it's not like DayZ in the sense that everyone just shoots you on sight. It's easy to find a server that has at least a few people that give you a chance to show you're friendly before shooting. It's always good to be cautious though... Anyway, it's in alpha at the moment and they're recoding or something right now, but it should only get better from here so I'm glad I bought this. Better with friends.
