I'd be ruined if this were real money. One of the deck builder greats.

With an innovative combat system, stunning visuals, and great performance, this game definitely deserves a look. It has a fairly low barrier of entry, while allowing for a decently high skill cap.

While you'll most likely pick up this game for the multiplayer, the Campaign does a good job on its own. It's no masterpiece, but it's just long enough so that it doesn't get old, while establishing the lore and mechanics of the game.

While the performance leaves you frustrated at a couple points, you can generally get past them with some tweaking of settings. Even though I have 2 GTX 1080s, I still see some struggles.

Outside of those issues, the game is pretty fantastic. So far it's an engaging storyline, an enticing combat system, and beautiful visuals. If you love the cyber-punk genre, this is a must-buy. You won't be disappointed, and it will definitely keep you entertained.

If you have a lower-end system, maybe wait for DirectX12, or patches to see if those clear up some of the issues.

A refreshing sim, the likes of which I haven't seen before. You have to make a lot of tough calls right out of the gate, and you feel like they have impact. When you're ordered by City Hall to fire all of your black police offers due to recent targeting of black officers, it really makes you consider the ramifications. Do you fire them all to protect them only to seem racist, or keep them on the force with the potential to be killed. Inner corruption is another added aspect that throws in even more tension. Definitely worth the $15.

What a great return to Evolve. I played the game in Open Beta back in early 2015, and liked it enough, but not enough to justify a $60 price tag. Fast-forward to mid 2016, and it looks like they've fixed most if not all of the existing issues. Balance is pretty decent, favoring the monsters only slightly.

The new perk system is sweet, and the redesign to the menus and UI are great as well. Definitely worth the download and some play time.

This is easily the best game of 2014 in my mind. It takes elements from other really successful games like Assassin's Creed and Batman Arkham Asylum and capitalizes on them. What makes this game even better than its counterparts is the Nemesis system. This game adds a desire to hunt down each Uruk as they are all unique in their personalities and ambitions. The combat feels GREAT. The game doesn't start you off with access to all abilities, so you have the opportunity to build your skills and make combat dynamic and different with each mission. I think too often we are looking for revolutionary mechanics added ot the medium, when really a great game can use already established mechanics and innovate off of them. Shadow of Mordor does exactly that, and it provides an experience that is polished and refreshing to the Tolkien universe. I HIGHLY recommend this game.

When it comes down to it, this game is just fun. A lot of people will compare it to Civ 5, and that's totally fine to use it as a baseline. When it comes to art, this game blows Civ 5 out of the water. It's a beautiful game. Gameplay is also very fun. The abillity to manually or auto determine combat is great! It is still an alpha, but I'm very please with how polished it is in this stage. Can't wait for multiplayer!

A truly enjoyable MMO. I think it would be well worth a full price tag, but it's not! IT'S FREE. The Microtransactions are well justified, and in the long run you'll find yourself picking up an extra character slot or two for very little cost!
