Records ALL In-Game voice and text chat (who knows what they do with all that data), has a report system that can be very easily abused (trust me, I abused the ♥♥♥♥ out of it during the entire free weekend ;D), and extreme censorship just as many games nowadays unfortunately have.

I will admit, however, it took quite a bit to get myself banned. I assume it may have been due to the free weekend, but there were TONS of people with over ~10-20+ reports on their accounts (you can actually see every single report somebody has on them by clicking their username on the player/tab menu), and nothing was being done about any of them or the ones I had on my account. I'm sure these people will be weeded out once the free weekend ends and they have tricked enough people into buying.

Finally though, after trying all weekend, I finally got the hammer earlier in the middle of the game. It was NOT for the insane amount of horrible things I did/said over the weekend. No, instead it was for typing the words "my 'n i b b e r s'" in response to someone else 30-45mins before said ban. That was the funniest ♥♥♥♥ I have experienced in a long time.


In regards to the gameplay itself, I would not recommend it. Not only due to the whole report system/censorship/community/etc, but mainly because this game is as if someone took Battlefield 4 and tried to make a Roblox port. It becomes very old, very quickly. The new gamemode "Invasion" was nothing more than spawning in and getting killed because, unlike conquest, you're restricted to a portion of the map and must capture three points in order to advance. IF your team is unable to cap the three points or advance, then you have to play UNTIL TIMER RUNS OUT. Thats over 30+ minutes per game where sometimes you dont even progress, just fight in your spawn.

Like Battlefield 4, players run fast and more. The spawn system works practically the exact same. You can spawn then seconds later die, because somebody ran in and suicide C4'ed (after dying multiple times mind you, so they just keep rushing in until they get the kill.). That's what this game turns into, instead of using any real "skill" or any type of tactical thinking you eventually just keep respawning off your teammate/etc to mindlessly RUSH and outnumber then get the kill, or to just get on the objective. I got to level ~85 in one weekend and after unlocking alot of the weapons/unlocks/etc, it just felt really stale. It really feels like I have played it all before, and it was becoming nothing more than a grindey chore.

The guns look and feel really good though (the sounds definitely need improvement), and the main "cool part" about the game is the ability to play with a whopping 254 people. I just wish this game had more of a "tactical realism" to it. I can avoid sniper fire by just running around in a circle while jumping for example. It also takes quite a few shots to kill a player (they should also really work on hitboxes more). At first when playing I was excited, but after a couple hours in I could tell this was just another arcadey shooter. There IS a hardcore server that increases damage and more, but not many people are always playing it.

Near the end I just found myself putting mines on drones and flying them into people, which was hilarious but got old eventually as well. This game IS still in early access mind you, so there is tons of room to improve. Seeing the direction this game is going however, I doubt its going to be anything other than a COD/BF4/CS/etc-esque roblox type of shooter that people who use Discord/etc will play to pass the time along with their other loser friends.

This game really seems it was MADE for weirdos who use Discord (which is what a majority of players are using while playing, and all community servers will have a discord) and who use Reddit/etc. The playerbase/community seems to have a LOT of either teens/literal children cracking sex or reddit jokes, or 30+++ year old men who should be doing something more with their lives but are the first to tell you that you are doing something wrong with yours. (One guy told everyone they were 37! Jesus!) You can be reported for griefing/toxicity by somebody for quite literally no reason just because you killed them, or they find your voice chat annoying (which is what I did a lot lololol). I have witnessed admins ban others for things that are against server rules while allowing specific individuals to do said things (most likely because they are talking in a discord chat/etc giggling about it.)

To finalize this "rant", I would NOT recommend this game. The recording of ALL In-Game voice/text chat as well as the report system that is so easily abused is a huge turn-off and problem. There are plenty of better options out there. Having 254 players is great and all, however after ~27 hours I can say this game really needs alot more work, and even then it will most likely become just another arcade shooter with 254 players being the main and only selling point.

Yet again, shame on you Amazon.

Horribly UN-optimized, buggy, DLC ridden TRASH!

This game used to be fun and quite enjoyable years back. Until skins, constant changes/nerfs, a community slowly rotting away by the own cancer it has created, along with a chat system that is unusable now due to the politically correct reporting system. Competitive has lost its touch, the game is quite unplayable unless you have alot of time to throw away. Casual is just laughable, and all these other game modes are just tasteless filler. I would start just playing on community servers, but after a little over 1000 hours, and a good hard look at it all, I think its time now to just uninstall. I wont be getting my money back, but I sure will be letting valve know right here and now that they have disappointed me yet again. For shame.

EDIT:
There seems to be a brand new feature that mutes players text/voice chat for simply being reported too many times, wether they were legit or not. Doesnt matter if you're trusted. For shame x2.

Shame on DECA and anyone that had anything to do with turning this game into a giant pile of dogshite.
