Its good

This was an OK experience. It was fun and quick which is a positive. Definitely not worth more than 5 bucks in my opinion. Compared to the original Alan Wake experience this is nothing compared to that. The animation is lack-luster, the same settings are re-used (although it makes sense why, the settings get a bit stale). There is next to no challenge, and there isn't even a final boss battle. I wouldn't recommend this game unless you can get it for a couple of bucks and play it as an arcade game.

This game is a breath of fresh air after having over saturated myself with FPS. The story is great and takes it self very seriously. The settings are all gorgeous, the audio is great, and the game plays very well. Voice acting was ok, and character animation (namely on Alice) was a bit lack luster at times. Making her look very un-natural. The cinimatics, story telling, and fun game play mechanics are what makes this game shine. Recommend.

Great game. Although the color scheme and setting can get a little bland at times. The firefights and the slow motion is great. This game has aged very well since I first played it when it first came out. Great story, great level design, an alright story in my opinon buy maybe that was just the way it was told. Looking forward to playing the second one.

Also, first time I played this some parts made me jump so the game is a bit scary.

Great game with great action and great set pieces. Story is good as well. My only gripe would be lack of variety in enemies and the game wasn't very challenging even on the hardest difficulty. I love the linear/free roam aspects of it. Transitions between environments is seemless and there are never any loading times.

Although it's not the most like GTA, it's still one of my favorites. I love the gritty semi-serious tone of it.
