An excellent little adventure that reminds me of the childlike joy I can still get to this day from the video game medium. The character and soul this game oozes more than make up for it's faults.

Your goal in Fight Knight is to ascend and explore a mysterious tower, featuring random battles and good ol' dungeon crawling. As you explore the tower you will find special moves, potions recipes, fighting styles, and lovable characters that grants each foray one more thing to consider and look forward to. Combat is at worst a struggle against clarity of visuals and intent, and at best an exciting dance of strong abilities and ripostes. Understanding enemy behaviors and how they interact with other enemies all so you can deliver the perfect knuckle sandwich is immensely charming and satisfying, even when you have 8 different enemies clambering toward you. These battles are weaved around puzzles that, although may be the weakest part of the game, provide a nice pace that builds up into glorious boss fights and ultimately a finale that I will be remembering for quite some time.

Throughout it all I constantly found myself smiling at the characters, powerful gameplay, and serene environments and would absolutely recommend it to anyone who finds joy in the type of world only a good game can provide.

This game sounds like a Battle Royale at first, but any amount of playtime shows how faulty that description would be. There is no looting, no dropping hot, and generally a much higher emphasis on playing slow. In addition there are roaming ai zombies/dogs/monsters that act as road bumps, and if handled poorly can leave you ripe for the picking, reveal your location, or even kill you outright if you misplay hard enough. Certainly there are god gamers who don't know how to miss bullets and can become the Doom Slayer among the bayou, killing players as easy as the zombies shambling about, but for your average on and off player this is a tense game where patience wins more gunfights than most. Getting better at this game is a deep and rewarding experience, and learning general map layout and how to use each gun will give you hundreds of hours of really fun game play.

Overall the unique eldritch voodoo western atmosphere and satisfying to master game systems make this something I wholeheartedly recommend. You need to be willing to suck while you get used to the gameplay, but once you do you'll be shouting "YEEEEE-HAAAW" over proximity chat as you claim bounties and hunt down other players. There's really not anything else I've played like it.

This game is such a piece of ♥♥♥♥. Crashes at this point don't surprise me, just frustrate me, but they're so expected at this point that you learn it will never be fixed. Audio frequently cuts out with the sound of footsteps existing in some Schrodinger's state. They didn't just stop at the technical issues either, the terrible cash shop is an insult. If you purchase anything from it, check yourself, you just might be a 82 ft marine mammal. The lack of respect for your average player that the cash-shop exudes makes me only have disdain for Respawn's economic team.

Unfortunately the game is fun, like really fun. Sliding and jumping around like some sorta Super Mario-John Wick, paired with excellent gun-play and design, rounded out with simple but mostly interesting character kits creates a game that I can't really find anywhere else. On Origin alone I've spent 700+ hours and now that it's on steam even more hours are sure to follow. I just wish the surrounding elements didn't make me feel as if I'm a chud for enjoying the game.

Early Access Review
This game is so RAD. I seriously went in expecting all the cool ♥♥♥♥ to be locked behind being a Quake pro from back in the day (which I am not), but within hours I was pulling off maneuvers and shots that had me cackling with glee.

You've not lived until you've fired a rail-gun at a flipping coin thereby obliterating 2 swathes of enemies, simultaneously wall-jumping to punch a ball of death back at the enemy that was foolish enough to lob it your way, all while the game gives you the titular rating of ULTRAKILL to the backdrop of a kick-ass drum n' bass soundtrack. There are not enough run on sentences I can create to explain the way this game makes you feel like a badass robot fueled by the blood of the demons of hell. The game-feel at work is so top-notch that if you have any interest in intense fast-paced games then you owe it to yourself to play this.

You ever hit a world threatening dragon so hard his face literally broke off into pieces of a new hat? No? I am so sorry.

Coming from someone who just started with F2P for this game, I can safely say I'm glad I've gotten to play this game now, the world is unique, the game is exciting, and the characters, oh the characters are just so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lovable. Where the gameplay excels is in forcing players to interact with each other to defeat the monster, it's the type of game where in order to do well as hunter you really need voice chat or at the very least a fast typing speed. You can sometimes get by with pings but to beat better monster players communication is absolutely key, in both planning your team and executing it's strengths.

For people more to themselves, well the monster is far and above one of the more unique experiences in video gaming. The best I can compare it to is playing the Tank in Left 4 Dead except obviously way overtuned to match the intensity it should. You feel the immense pressure and power you possess and setting up traps for hunters to follow you into is absolutely rewarding.

Where this game tends to fall short is in the balancing of it all. And I don't mean "Monsters are op" but simply that a lot of times singular mistakes such as poor positioning at any moment, bad timing on a dome, or just simply a badly meshed team comp can literally cost the entire game.

For people willing to deal with punishing yet rewarding matches this game offers an altogether unique and fun experience that I hope more people will try out.

It's like Metroid, Shadow of the Colossus, Dark Souls, and Zelda had a beautiful, beautiful baby.

Really though the gameplay is crisp and makes you feel like a total badass, and the story is a vague yet deeply designed treasure. My biggest gripe is just some usability issues, often times I would click outside the window since the mouse wasnt set to be bound in the game, and the mouse itself is nigh invisible in some segments which makes nearly everything you do very difficult mearly because you can't see where you're aiming. Despite its clarity issues this game is one I won't be forgetting any time soon.

Dungeon of the Endless is all about the joys of random loot and exploration of an interesting universe.
The music, atmosphere, and pixel art is all spot on (just don't look at the awful pixel portraits). The game also boasts a very pretty, albeit underused art style through an album of drawn out depictions of enemies, ships, and characters.
The characters themselves deserve a special mention, because each one has their own distinct charm and play. This is even further explored in that characters interact with one another in interesting ways, and even provide actual game altering effects to incentivize team experimentation and boosts the game's replayability.

As for the meat of game, you start by choosing a pod (game modifier) to crash land in and the characters to bring along in it. Gameplay then revolves around opening doors. No really, opening doors is integral to the experience and the way the game functions, serving as a sort of "turn" for generating resources, refreshing ability cooldowns, and sometimes spawning monsters. Most importantly though, it's why the game is so fun and absolutely absorbing. You see behind each door could be anything, maybe it's a really cool item, maybe it's a new hero, maybe it's even the shape and size of the room you discover that makes you shout with excitement, but whatever it is, it's what it COULD be that keeps you trekking through each floor, and ultimately what keeps you interested for so long.
