Early Access Review
Very fun variation of Vampire Survivors that goes against the one hand approach in favor of a dash-heavy action where you dont really want to autoattack at all due to slowdown.
Adorable in how shamelessly it pulls mechanics from Hades and Diablo - it works, so not a complain.
In comparison with Halls of Torment, this is is way more comedic (assassin talks in zoomer lowercase, sorcess does emoticons >.> in speech etc), which puts it closer to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nature of VS.

Hope it gets more support in future, currently it needs some variation between Knight, Barbarian and Warrior and maybe some skill progression for classes.

Until Deep Rock Survivor comes out this is probably the best clone of Vampire Survivors with a cool progression system and killer Diablo 1 style.

Decent XCOM clone with chainsaws with a few cool ideas (overwatch cones) but insanely, overly long with dozens of generic padding missions

Terrific X-Com-alike tactical game, with lots of influence from Darkest Dungeon and Invisible Inc, A bit dragging from the middle to late missions, but where gameplay lags, the amazing art direction picks up. One of the better Warhammer 40k videogame adaptations, nailing the tone and details of one of the most interesting factions from 40k universe.

Imagine if Mirror's Edge had a great melee system and a metric ton of open world sandbox fun activities. Plus actually fun co-op and competetive multiplayer! Good! Now smear it a bit with awful sections where you need to use firearms in closed spaces and the usual sandbox weariness that kicks in after 25 hours.

Really good difficulty settings - normal can still provide quite a challenge and frustration if you dont cheese (especially at night).

All in all, a very polished experience, it is surprising how jumping and dropkicking zombies can feel fresh and satisfying for so long.

Heavily recommend to buy the Ranger DLC so you have the bow from the start, being a Rambo is a way to go in this one.

Very cool X-Com inspired tactical game with Worms-style ricochets. No more blaming RNG, git gud at aiming!

Despite kid-friendly aesthetics (originally a 3DS title) and cakewalk 1st chapter, the game is very fair in its difficulty: your robots are fragile and most stages have unlimited enemy reinforcements. The lategame leves are genuinely challenging and there is not much space for cheesing and exploits (played at 3rd difficulty, there are two more and NG+).

The only negative point: you can't see the skills that your characters unlock next level, so it is kinda playing blind until you figure out who are the robots you are most comfortable with.

Amazing and original rhytmic game, Audiosurf that actively wants to murder you - a fragile silver scarab on a cosmic highway. Very good at teaching you mechanics, patterns and at scaring the living ♥♥♥ out of anyone who dares to play it drunk at night.

I have no interest in VR, but I really want to try out Thumper in it after having a blast with a common version.

So many terrible design decisions in this, and each new one makes the previous even worse. Floaty tank controls on top of the perfect aim of the enemies on top of the lazy and overly simple procedural levels on top of the roguelike unlocks and non-replenishing health. If you get stuck on hard stage without some health saved, kiss your ass goodbye and prepare to reload dozens of times, every time on a different, hellish map.

Also ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who even wants a spaceship/mech game to have stealth elements.

It feels like a game that devs had an absolute blast to play but they forgot that not many people have two-three years to master the ridiculously difficult controls. It is an arcade shooter, not IL-2 for fks sakes.
