Wonderful stylised visuals, very immersive audio and music. Tunic is a game for those who long for that head-scratching feeling you got from retro games that expected you to find your own way, with only the instruction manual to guide you (which this game has a literal take on by providing you with one in-game which mimics the style of old NES instruction manuals akin to Legend of Zelda).

The game provides a mix of difficult "souls-like" combat and a trove of puzzles to solve (pen and paper recommended for the harder ones!). If both of those aspects sound like your thing, then there is no doubt that you'll enjoy this game.

I highly recommend to avoid spoilers and guides, and try to find your own way using only the in-game clues to get the fullest enjoyment and experience from this game.

I originally came across Solar 2 thanks to it's very atmospheric OST. The game itself is generally relaxing and has you spawning as a small asteroid, and having to collect more and more mass to eventually become a black hole and consume the universe. As an achievement hunter, I enjoyed stretching the game's play time with the challenges and achievements. Now that I have finished, the game may only offer a small amount of replayability, but I am satisfied with the amount of gameplay I got for my money.

Worth it for the remasters sountrack alone; C&C Remastered is a faithful fidelity upgrade of the original games. A perfect way to relive or rediscover these original games, warts and all, as they were; but on modern hardware and updated visuals.

A perfect hangout for socialising with friends during the lockdown. Play games, chill out, explore; it's all here.

Fans of games like the Strike series' (Desert Strike etc) will feel at home here. A great tactical isometric blow 'em up, with a slick dystopian retro-future aesthetic (with amazing sountrack).

Let me tell you this before you dive in, running in and trying to shoot up the place will not work most of the time. This is a game about tactics and precision, over just blowing everything up.

This game is an absolute triumph. As a long-time Half-Life fan, this game oozes personality and love for the original. The new Xen chapters are in a (Excuse the pun) complete different dimension to the original Xen chapters. The attention to detail, atmosphere, and the sheer amount of extra gameplay on offer from these new chapters is just staggering.

To put it into perspective, I've managed to get about 15-20 hours (on hard mode) out of this full version of the game, and that is as someone who knows the original game inside-out.

Highly Recommended to any Half-Life fan; but also to anyone who never experienced the original and would like to experience the origin of the story and the universe is much more modern way.

A box pushing puzzler mixed with a simple but deep logic puzzles makes this a winner. Every puzzle requires you to twist your brain and change your boundaries of thinking to solve, and it's bloomin' great. If you like puzzlers, and especially if you enjoy logic puzzles, give this a buy. It's worth the full price, even if the visuals give the outward impression of a quick and dirty pixel-art indie game.

I never owned Top Gear (only a brief encounter), but played games in the same kind of genre from the Sega camp (Hang-On/Super Hang-On, Sonic Drift Lotus Turbo Challenge etc.). This recaptures that genre of games perfectly, and a silky 60fps.

The soundtrack is amazing, and it makes the game feel complete. Without the soundtrack I don't know if the game would be as enjoyable, but I could say the same about other games in this genre.

Tonnes of tracks, a full campaign with unlockables and collectables for 100% nerds like me.

Would recommend, particularly at the current Steam Summer Sale price.

The implementation of the event-triggered music is a major part of what got me into and hooked onto this game. The puzzle mechanics are simple yet challenging, and the musical payoff keeps you enagaged throughout.

When an AG racing game can get you into the zone as long as this one has for me, you know it's worth your time. ( Also this game singlehandedly got me into AG racing as a genre. )

Pros
- Responsive handling (maybe a bit too responsive at times!)
- Fast as all hell (On Elite speed class!)
- Functioning and reliable multiplayer (with a collisionless and weaponless mode for purists)
- Looks delicious
- Now has almost 30 music tracks.

Cons
- Ship customisation still pretty basic
- Combat still rough around the edges, and needs some serious rebalancing.
- Some annoying UI bugs and occasional crashes.

All the cons are pretty fixable, and have been noted by the devs as areas they want to target.

Whilst the game in Early Access was slow going, since release R8 are treating the game as they should have during EA; posting regular patches with bug fixes and balancing; as well as new content.
