You put out a free weekend and this is what you had? Bad move.

Play this with your wife, so she can punch your arm a bunch.

WHEN you can connect to the servers, it crashes. Constantly. Or you get this neat bug where random letters and numbers are just missing from your UI. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trash. And passed 2 hour mark because can't connect to servers. Stay away.

Edit 2/23/2024: Seem to be able to get into servers without issues now, UI bug remains, tried all "fixes". I have crashed at the end of 30 minute mission 4 times now, reaping no rewards. Two of which was the end of a three mission set. ♥♥♥♥ this trash.

Edit 3/27/2024: Still crashing. All the time. With no re-connect feature, it's pointless to play without a friend you can re-join on. Frustrating.

Too fast too soon? So auto-end my run because I'm doing well? That's terrible game design. Count me out.

30 FPS with 1080ti, game crashes every lobby. What a joke of a release.

Yeah it's fun. The company protects.

I am 36 years old and played this game with randoms-only. I had a blast. Learning the enemies, how to handle them, exploring seeded dungeons to find loot, trying to make it as far as you can, while having a ton of laughs along the way is a blast.

There's short and long-term decisions to be made regarding how much loot to sell, how much to save, what equipment to buy. Do we risk looking for more loot so we can buy more gear to get more loot? Do we save up so we go the long haul with the company? How far can we make it? We have X dollars in the bank, do we risk losing a portion of that by sending someone out to get more loot, but they could die reducing our bank? Should we spend all of our money to avoid this? Should we go to a hard planet for increased loot but increase our chance of wiping and losing everything?

Impactful decisions and player agency are what make a game great, and this game is full of them. Not to mention discussing said decisions with your team and taking their opinions into account. It's a goofy blast, but there's also a serious game in here, if you want it to be. I think I have about 60+ hours on it and I've made it to day...40? I think? I'm interested in going back and seeing if I can beat that score, and also to check out new stuff when updates drop. The more the dev adds to the game, the more there will be to do when seeded in with old content, creating unique situations to overcome and laugh at.

It's Paragon! Great game, managed poorly. 20 minutes for Q time, practically dead.

People blow up in toxic waste on you and when you respond, they and their 3 friends in the match report you for saying exactly what they said back to them. Seven day ban. Go ♥♥♥♥ yourself Hi-Rez. Never another ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dollar.
