I only paid £13.50 for this due to having another game that was included in a discount bundle. The people whining about it being a "DLC" are such basement dweller losers. It's a nice upgrade in terms of features from the first, the story is good, and the game runs well (though its a mess of low FPS on proton for me after leaving the car, which only a restart fixes. Its fine on Windows.)

Proper good value and I hope there is some DLC coming soon as I would have been happy with this at a higher price. It's not a AAA masterpiece, but it is a good time for a great price and doesn't over stay its welcome with pointless grindy mechanics.

I read this was made by a single dev? Really? This is why I'm almost exclusively into smaller indy games these days. You get value, support the healthier side of the industry, and get to experience a lot more smaller interesting titles in the time it would take to grind though a single modern repetitive (+usually disappointing) AAA title.

PS. Motion Blur off by default. This dev actually plays games.

Still crashes to desktop sometimes on the frequent loading screens. Really is a 90s simulator. Just not in a good way

Edit: performance is still horrible (3900x 5700xt) after several more crashes on load screens I give up. Its early beta at best still

The original is more fun. The original wont be sold to you tiny piece by piece. Seriously just play that.

Its a solid Meh. Flight (basically the whole game) only feels good on a controller, using keyboard and mouse feels all or nothing on the turns which makes accurately arresting over steer very frustrating. However when its fun it is pretty fun.

The story feels BORING, I don't actually think its so much the story itself but the awful generic characters with their cookie cutter lines that you're forced to 'interact' with. Honestly this is my main problem with star wars over the last decade, the extended universe keeps pumping out great content while the fore runners (Disney, EA) keep on spewing out the same low effort copy and paste ♥♥♥♥. The story also ends right where it starts to get good.

I do think there's a lot of potential here, but I'm disappointed I paid £35 for a 6 hour story with dull characters (esp the imperial commander) which ended far too soon. I guess as there are no microtransactions and its an EA release, we will be sold the rest of the story in further 6 hour chunks...

Feels like someone sent Future Cop: LAPD to to fight the Starcraft Zerg.

Game will be excellent if the demo is anything to go by...

Its OK, but becomes stale quickly as there are a limited few things to make and even fewer worthwhile challenges. You'll hit the end game very quickly and there's very little reason to continue.

The devs could spend from now until eternity providing a trickle of extra content that might keep people happy but I think they've left off the most valuable thing that could have been added to this game... Steam workshop support.
In my opinion until this has support for mods though steam its worth skipping, that would really be a day and night difference for a title like this.

Also billboards having a limit of 5 stations is a factory killer. You either have to limit your production, or go though the tedious task of creating multiple plans using multiple rooms with the same machines.

If you want it buy it now on steam before it catches AIDS and dies on Epic.

Show them steam is where its at.

A good hitman game, however they want £45 for 6 missions. Those missions do offer a lot of replay value but really it just feels like they sold it with bare minimum content to sell DLC, which the menu constantly dangles in front of you.

The game gets a thumbs up but only on sale at around half price considering the amount of DLC you need to buy to own something that feels close to a full game. In fact I'm pretty sure if you skipped all the cutscenes you could run through the main story in an hour.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I'm annoyed I can't give this game a thumbs up, it started so well.

EDIT: This game is now unsurprisingly £15 elsewhere online, its totally worth that.

I originally wrote a positive review for this game, but now having played a lot of it, I hate it.

How this was ever released with absolutely no working fleet management is crazy to me, the game always becomes unplayable once you get a foothold in the galaxy with enough resources to start creating a fleet. This is mainly due to the complete inability to issue meaningful group orders, the ships are brain dead unless you take the time to issue orders to each ship one at a time. The terrible performance doesn't help either.

Unless you enjoy pausing and issuing individual orders to hundreds of ships every few minutes of play, then this is just an entropy simulation.

After release the game is now 5x buggier, the lag is x5 worse and the overall expereince is unplayable. Waste of SSD space.
