Early Access Review
Moonbreaker has at its core a really fun miniatures gameplay system. It has ramping mana like Hearthstone, which is the economic engine for great tactical combat. While there is some output randomization in the form of chance to hit, it feels pretty fair, and mostly like I am in control of my own destiny. Strategy pays off.

The computerized tabletop game aspect feels great - seeing clear outlines of where I can go, what I can hit, what area will be affected, and even whether I am lining up a killshot on a crew. There are some bugs in the way it displays that make sense given Early Access, but nothing unplayable. Meanwhile, in addition to taking away the need for a lot of math, this game also does some things that would be really hard to track in true tabletop, like permanent unit cost reduction that persists even if the unit goes back to the ship.

On to Cargo Run. This is a really fun PvE experience, and there are many opportunities to look for game-breaking improvements to your captain as you shoot and smash through the 5-match campaign. Since they've made access to the mode unlimited, there's really nothing but upside here.

Of course, the game is Early Access, and there is an unsurprising need for more content: More captains, more crew, more game modes. I hope to see multiplayer modes before too long, so that I could play on a team with friends, either against other players or in some sort of pve mode.

Additionally, I'd like to see changes that increase the story's presence in gameplay. For example, I could imagine a mode where crews are mostly built from a single Culture, but with some limited (e.g. "You can have two crew from outside the Culture) or expensive (e.g. +1 unit cost) way to mix things up. Another option would be to have bonuses that apply only within the Culture. This could actually expand the design space, because it would silo certain benefits to have more limited application. Seasonal community-wide objectives could tangibly alter the playing field, e.g. by causing a character to switch Cultures, with actual gameplay meta consequences.

This is an excellent deck building game, with very high replayability. Worth every penny, and I bought it again on a different platform. :P

I play this with my kids, and we have a great time together. It's a testament to the challenge of the game that the first many hours were a little too much like real life for me, with me gathering all the food and trying to keep my diminutive teammates alive. However, I feel like this past weekend we finally hit a point where at least one of them is able to contribute meaningfully. She even went out gold harvesting so we could build more science-y things. In the end, I died that time because of some regrettable hubris on my own part - that, and an insatiable craving for frogs' legs.

10/10 would starve again.

This is an amazing tool for playing board games with friends who are far away! So good.

Silly fun, a high skill cap, and quick matches mean a lot of fun and quick resets when ya get tilted. :)

PUBG is, in short, genre-defining. There will probably be better Battle Royale-style games, and there already are ones that crash a lot less (the number one thing stealing my enjoyment of the game). But those games will always owe a debt to PUBG in the same way that shooters owe Quake, fighters owe Street Fighter, and platformers owe Mario.

This is simply one of the most fun action titles I've ever played. It has really great gameplay that made me feel like a tanky space marine. The class-based multiplayer is pretty well-balanced, and the horde mode is challenging, and great for playing with friends.

Pros:
Really cool weapons.
Plays well with a gamepad or kb/m.
Really smooth gameplay jumping between ranged and melee.
Pretty good plot that fits well in WH40K universe.
Good flavor in fighting orks vs. chaos - orks have overwhelming numbers, chaos have beefy units to rival your own strength.
Jump pack scenes work well.

Cons:
Lack of split-screen local co-op
It's a console port, and this shows up in the menu design, graphics options, and obnoxious checkpoint save system.
No moddability
At this point they should remove the grind for unlocking stuff in MP mode, at least if you just want to go play co-op.
The entire game, including a really tough mid-game boss, has consistent mechanics and skill use, then the final boss is just a game of simon says. That could've been better.
Sometimes platforms/wall clipping doesn't quite match the visual

CS:GO Review
This is a really great upgrade to the classic format. Graphics are better, but can still run on lower-end hardware like a macbook air. Now, on to gameplay. There are a handful of new weapons: A clip-fed auto shotgun, a bigger SAW, decoy and incendiary grenades. Oh, and no tac shield. Game types have been split beyond cs/de into more categories. Obviously you can get more info elsewhere, but Arms Race is an official implementation of Gun Game, and is great for just training on how to use all the weapons. Demolition is a fun, short match experience with non-economy progression. The dedicated server/mod community is still thriving, although by default you will hit "official" servers. And weapon skinning adds an additional bit of fun for those that care.

I couldn't get behind minecraft, but the fear of impending oom makes this really fun.

Space Marine campaign is not as epic as in previous DOWII offerings, but playing through it as six different races was great! Muliplayer is fast-paced and varied. The Last Stand is a really great experience. Great game all around!
