A terrific way to learn about (and play) a video game classic. I was not very familiar with Karateka having first played Mechner's work in the original Price of Persia, but that didn't stop me relishing this tremendous historical journey. Great stuff.

Wololo

I had a blast with Dredge when we covered it for Noclip. The core loop is incredibly addictive and the world is a lot of fun to explore. There's loads of variety in fishing and the change of tone when you get to nighttime always made the hair on my neck stand up. A great little game, I couldn't put it down. Works perfectly on Steam Deck too.

Return to Monkey Island is absolutely tremendous. A lovingly crafted homage to the communal joy of experiencing these terrific stories. I laughed a bunch, and in the end I cried. It took me around 9 hours to complete and I played on "hard" and used the tip book a few times to keep the story moving. As a lifelong series fan I couldn't be happier. They nailed it.

As an early F2P game it's hard to find too much worthy of criticism. The gunplay is solid and with neat changes to the Battle Royal formula I can see myself coming back to play this one as the team at Boss Key continue to work on it.
