The Life of Lady Snow:

"The Honourable Lady Snow ,
In darkness she will always glow,
Light through her will always shine and flow.

The Courteous Lady Snow ,

Like Batman, she's pretty much a weirdo.

The Gracious Lady Snow ,
Swift as a gazelle, nimble as a doe,
Slim, soft and agile from head to toe.

The Cultured Lady Snow ,
She drove her Porsche to pick up Jean Jacques Rousseau and Pablo Picasso,
They ate some delicious Italian risotto,
After which they went to a show about Juliet and her beloved Romeo.

The Busy Lady Snow ,
Very bored when she wrote this lousy poem,
While she was sipping tea in a first class flight from Morocco to Monaco. "

ps, My Porsche has two seats only. I wouldn't have been able to pick up Picasso.

~ The Travels & Adventures of Lady Snow ~ :

- I have travelled quite a bit around the globe and it is something that always interests me. So I decided to note down some of my experiences for anyone else who is also interested in travelling etc.

Most of my travels have been adventures, not leisure. Maybe you could compare me to Lara Croft (Tomb Raider)

Instead of sun-bathing in Santorini Greece, you'd find me climbing up unsafe medieval ruins in abandoned places etc. Instead of partying in Ibiza, you'd find me walking between desert dunes and tropical waterfalls.

I have many fond memories travelling, but some of my favorite destinations were Sri Lanka and the USA.

Sri Lanka had a natural beauty that I did not expect to see . Spending hours on the road, I did not get bored from looking out the window, seeing the different types of trees and flora, the nature was beautiful. We stopped at a town on top of a hill. The people were poor, yet they seemed very happy. They lived in poor shacks and huts, yet I've never seen people more happier than them. Sincere smiles on their faces. School children passing us by, wave to us and greet us with beautiful smiles.
In the afternoon, the children were playing outside their little hut, laughing, smiling giggling. The whole scene was touching. Such simple, poor people, yet so happy. The people there were very friendly. After a cultural theatre show, I had a little chat with someone there and they all seem very pleasant and welcoming. Those little simple interactions, are memorable.

Another place I liked was the USA. There is so much linked or thought of when we speak of the USA. Whether good or bad, the USA has a great number of gems. I visited the southern part, Texas and Arizona at first. The countryside is absolutely wonderful. America is a vast country with huge land, and what I like is that they appreciate their nature and countryside. I loved it. We visited a natural world wonder, the Grand Canyon. It was simply breathtaking. Went hiking in other parks near the Grand Canyon, and had lovely interactions with other walkers. There we were, 2 different people from 2 different countries and worlds, yet here we were, having a lovely chat and enjoying the walk then going our own way. Why can life not be as simple as this? Visiting other national parks is certainly on my agenda.
In the USA I also visited Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Beverly Hills. I don't really need to explain why I found those places amazing as well

If you are into pop-culture, then Los Angeles and Beverly Hills were just amazing there, especially visiting the different studios.

Another destination that I found interesting was Lebanon. Lebanon is littered with old buildings and architecture. From medieval castles to ancient Roman buildings. It was amazing to adventure there. The most memorable for me was visiting the site of ancient Roman ruins and buildings. What was interesting to note, is that these archeological sites in Lebanon are barely attended to. There were no tourists, there is no tickets, and there are no ropes around the ruins. It was as real as it got. Ruins in the middle of no-where. You walk to them, between the ancient buildings and architecture. The ancient Roman buildings were amazingly mostly intact and still standing. I visited a Roman hippodrome that was very well preserved. I walked around and inside this ancient arena in amazement. Roman streets and pillars standing straight, unshaken by time. I wonder, what has those pillars seen? So much history.
I visited another abandoned Roman necropolis or ancient cemetery. It was the afternoon, in February, cold weather, calm sun, quiet atmosphere. It was eerie and creepy. This place was filled with sarcophagi, tombs, coffins of some sort. The only sound there was, was the sounds of my footsteps, walking between the architecture of this ancient graveyard, and looking inbetween the ancient tombs. Such amazing adventures.

Now get off Steam and go out. There is a world out there believe it or not.
