So much more than you think it is! So much more than I thought it would be. Do not underestimate this game-- the way the game develops and builds on itself, the way the game mechanisms interact. Such a cleverly put together game, and so fun to work through!

If you love to die a lot, this game is for you.

Never have I seen a game so artful and beautifully done. The visuals are pristine, perfect for the focal role they take. That alone makes this game a must-have. Beyond that, the puzzle aspects are equally creative and effective for an experience that steadily develops. Incredible piece of art of a game.

You know it.

I found this game through its soundtrack. Then learning a little of its characters drew me in. Having played a significant portion of it now, I only love it more. If you like experiencing the artful emotions of wretched humanity, this game is essential.

Last Monster Hunter Game I played was Monster Hunter Tri, which I enjoyed, but it had its limitations. This blew that out of the water, as well as covers the nostalgia. Liked it enough, especially with its effective multiplayer, that I got my brother to get a copy so I can play with him.

Skyrim + Minecraft + Trolls + Even More Unique Fun Stuff = Valheim.
Far surpassed expectations.

My only sadness about this is that I currently only have a weak old laptop, so it cannot keep up with the graphics. I play it anyway. I love the story of this game. I love the lore. I love that it feels like a game actually worth playing because it relates to the struggles many have in real life. Honestly, I've been struggling with the purpose of playing games recently. Most games feel like a waste of time for me recently. Not this game. Love this game.

A game worth playing. 20 minutes to play it twice (decisions matter). Totally valuable message to real life. Love the message. Love the art. Needs to get more attention than it does.

I didn't play it straight through as I like to play later at night or whatever to set the atmosphere, but I did eventually get through the whole thing. (this won't be a thorough review because of this and since its been a little while).

The horror aspect was well intigrated into the work: actually a legitimate tense horror game by my taste, without really overdoing anything. And, the shooter aspect of the game was not overexagerated.
It was difficult at times, but as a whole it was just the right amount of challenging ^-^

I haven't gotten into the after beating the game stuff, but I really have nothing to complain about with this one.
The closest thing I have to a regret on this one is not buying the second in the same sale xD,
but if I ever need another horror game, I know where I might start.
