It's a good game, it can be a little difficult for beginners, but if you don't really want to play the game seriously there are really plenty of mods. The game pretty much never crashes for me either, even with mods installed. I've had battles with over 5k troops on the field, of course the FPS is low but the game doesn't crash.

I have 2000 hours, it is good if you have friends to play it with. Lots of mods, endless possibilities.

The dev says it isn't RNG, but I feel that is completely what it is, I am not sure if it is a bug, or just retardedly bad luck.

I have a 70 charisma skill, and I failed a charisma check, I had 74 awareness at one point, and I failed a awareness check. I don't know what is going on with this game, but I have not been able to get past the first part except for once in the four straight hours I played it. And sometimes my skill points didn't save, so I only had like 100 skill points at a time despite not spending ANY OF THEM at all. Can't recommend this game unless you want to go through endless grinds.

I just feel that the 'based on skills' part isn't true, considering I lost on checks that I should have passed, and some parts of the combat seem impossible, like a basic normal enemy militaman getting a hit even though I am on max defense, with a full stamina bar.

Very underrated. Most people who drop negative reviews for this game don't seem to understand how the gameplay works. I found it very fun. And it is not at all empty. Sure in the opening segments and beginning it will be slow. But once you get to the main island it's fun. Patrols hunt you, big ass robots romp around abandoned farms. The atmosphere and setting are stellar. People ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about copy paste houses? Dudes, you expect the devs to go through and make 3k buildings all unique? That's a lot to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ask. The gun play is good, you actually gotta find weakpoints on the bots. All in all not that bad of a a game. The bugs aren't too game breaking and are easily ignored. Except for one sound glitch that happens where you cannot hear reload or footsteps. But that is fixed by just going to the main menu. All in all for me it is probably an 8/10, dropping a positive review cause this game is getting way too much flak. And it is also 35$, not nearly triple A. People gotta understand this, least the devs are generous with the price.
