I can't seem to get the gun camo to show up. I've tried changing the colors and the pattens but all metal parts remain fully black. Is the image shown of the desert camo AK accurate to what your mod can do? And if so, do you have any insight as to what might be causing a conflict*?

Also, the Gun Info (displayed when hovering over a weapon in the Loadout) states: "Crit 2", whereas the vanilla Shotgun says "Critical Chance 10%" Does this mean the AK has 2% chance to crit? 20%?

I haven't yet taken it on a mission; I try to make sure all my mods are working properly before commiting to a campaign.
EDIT: I've played one mission with the gun on several of my squad members, and the gun seems to function as expected. Still cannot edit color/pattern of the gun.

*My active mods, other than this one:
"Uniforms Manager" - Falcon
"Utility Slot Sidearms" - GrimyBunyip
"After Action - Days Wounded" - MachDelta
"More Maps Pack" - tdDaz
"Larger Starting Squad" - BlueRaja
"Stop Wasting My Time" - BlueRaja, et al
"True retroactive AWC" - -bg-
"More Supplies" - BlueRaja
"Capnbubs Accessories Pack" - Capnbubs

That's weird, the weapon is supposed to be customizable. I won't be able to take a look until Tuesday.

Hmm, try resubbing to this mod. Make sure that before you resub to this mod, to check the mods workshop folder and make sure that the folder is deleted: <steam>/steamapps/content/268500/690496684/

If it still isn't working, then try the offline version of the mod here: {LINK REMOVED}

No luck. I did the unsub/resub like you directed, to no avail. Did my best installing the offline version; ended up with 2 identical AKs in the equip menu, but both were black (again). I'm starting to think this is an issue with my machine* somehow being unable to display the graphics. I tried cycling through all the graphical presets; no luck there, either. I think the only remaining option at this point is for me to do fresh install of the game; and while this is a really cool mod, it's not game-breaking without it. If you think of something else I can try, I'm open to trying it; I do appreciate your help.

Oh, and for posterity:

Same problem here.

That's so weird, because I have the same video card, and I'm not getting the same problem as you.

I think it might have something to do with the material colors that I've assigned to the weapon. Not sure though, I'll have to take a look when I get back.

Try this version and see if the black weapon bug disappears:

I also have the exact same problem. However, I also experience the same issue with some of your other gun mods; the China Lake, M60, and Uzi all do exactly this. The parts on them that are meant to be recolorable are just pitch black. Notably, the Mac-11 and M14 don't do this, and are perfectly functional.

Could it be some kind of compatability issue?

Oh, and I tried the version you linked. No, it didn't help :(

I'm not sure what could be the issue. If you have other weapon mods, try resubbing. I'm going to ask someone who knows how to solve this, since I can't reproduce it myself.

More news: I fixed it. If I subscribe to ALL of your weapon mods, the effect disappears for ALL of them. You might want to consider turning the weapons into one merged pack, or something like that.

I hope this is useful.

It's all in the collection and there's a button to subscribe to all, but I may separate them to another mod collection.

What I mean is, you might want to put a little notice up saying that you have to sub to all of them, or the effect will occur. Or include the (Missing, presumably) materials in some shared addon.

Just tried this. Did not work.

EDIT: Subscribing to all of your weapon mods seems to have done the trick; the weapons are customizable as expected. I agree with Arctic that there seem to be some dependancies between the mods, and one (at least this one) cannot stand alone.

I only activated your M16 mod and now the AK is working properly.

I think I know what's going on now. It seems that Unreal leaves redirectors behind when copying from other mods. In this case, when I copied materials and textures over from the M16, it must of created some kind of dependency.

I'm probably gonna reimport some textures and remake the materials again just to be sure. I'm not sure how I'm gonna check to see if there are any links to other mods.

EDIT: Okay, it seems like the bug happens to me when I have the M16 mod disabled. Definitely gonna get to the bottom of this. Also happens on the SVD as well.
