HUD movement intensity
The HUD seems to move too much when flying in jetpack, that my camera even clips through to the outside of the glass when accelerating backwards. I can also easily see the edge of the bottom panel when in jetpack mode.

I suggest adding a command that would let the user specify the intensity by which the HUD moves, or perhaps the maximum distance it travels to. There could also be another command for specifying the angular centering rate for making the HUD movement faster when the player looks around himself.

Also, when running over staircases or other obstacles, or when going into sprint or slow movement, the HUD just moves instantly which doesn't feel much immersive. Could such instant movements be ignored by the HUD to make the experience much smoother?

There's already one in the config, DelayedRotation.

But this sounds like a new issue with the camera itself that would happen even without that HUD dampening, I'll look into what's going on...

If I were to ignore instant movements it would do the exact issue you've explained in the first sentence.

Thanks, I'll tinker with the config. And I think the movement was caused by the last update, even the hand tools are moving way too much when flying.

I thought you could create a check specifically for this case, such as only during walking on a ground and not crashing into a wall. The slight bump when walking through the sliding doors corridor for example becomes much more prominent with the HUD on, that's a pity nothing can be done about it.

I had a look and that is totally broken, the smoothing is waaaaay too high, there's something wrong in the game because I didn't change anything to make it act like that.

And disabling the delayedrotation doesn't seem to help, that means the camera matrix is broken, the game reports it delayed for some reason...

I've just reported that, hope it's getting fixed today's hotfix or in the next update at least

I talked with a dev which explained what was going on and offered a solution, so I've just updated this and it should work fine :P
I did a lot of code moving around so there might be new issues, if you find any please let me know.

You should set that DelayedRotation back to something not 0 (it's 0.5 default) unless you really like the HUD being 100% rigid xD
