Not sure about that -- I imagine any quest to get any ores rather than ingots would be very difficult with this mod. It doesn't really make sense either, you would think they should probably be asking for ingots. That almost seems like the better solution -- finding some way of squelching ore quests. Not sure if that's possible or if it'd break things. This discussion is a year old, sorry I didn't see this sooner. :-/

It does make me wonder what the trading system is like nowadays. I just got the new DLC, maybe I'll look for a trade station while I'm testing out a new patch.

Don't know if this constitues necro posting or not and honestly don't care. the whole concept of necro is annoying to me. Anyway, I can tell you it's still a problem. Stations request ore often times because they also sell ore and not ingots. So this does indeed break that aspect of it sadly. Maybe instead of disabling the ore requests, why not find some way to match the tag so that "iron ore" is the same whether it's your mod or vanilla? Surely the quest is looking for a specific tag, so just make your iron ore have that tag and it should register it. Just my thoughts anyway.
