Why do I see both the new ores and vanilla ores?
Started a new game and before spawning for the first time enabled this mod and started exploring. I am finding deposits of the new ores PLUS still seeing vanilla ores show up (Nickel, Silver, Gold). Why is that?

Hi there. Have you managed to get rid of all the vanilla ore spawns?

Are you playing on a vanilla planet (e.g. Earth, Mars) or are you using a planet from a mod? I noticed that when I played "Planet 26" I was getting all vanilla ores except for iron which now had a different name.

I think this mod only affects vanilla planets. I had to change the mod files for "Planet 26" to switch it to use the ores from this mod.

Seriously, look at the first image, read the description. I misspoke before. This behavior is correct. Of course, other problems may be present - so read you log file.

@Holephoods, IIRC this mod uses vanilla like planet descriptions. If you create a world that does not meet the definitions of any mod, the mod does not know whether or how to change your world. I would guess that the Planet 26 world does not know about Better Stone. If you want them to work together, IMO the necessary changes need to be made to Planet 26, not this one.

Correct, it doesn't completely replace all vanilla ores, it just adds to the pool of possible ores that can be found but still leaves a balanced-as-possible blend of some vanilla ores in their original locations.

As for custom planets, as planets are all hand-designed (no randomness, no pulling from a random pool like asteroids do), so this mod cannot modify custom planets.

Looks like no further questions! Locking.
