If you mouse over the food number when you inspect a region, it will give you a breakdown of the supply situation.

Would it be possible for you to include the supply system as an optional feature?
Dresden  [developer] Nov 23, 2015 @ 12:01pm
As stated multiple times, we aren't removing the system. It is one of the most unique and interesting things ever done in a Rome 2 mod.

For those who don't prefer it, there are instructions in the manual on how to deactivate it.
HELLAFLUSH Nov 23, 2015 @ 12:36pm
I didn't say remove it, just optional, either way, the deactivation is what I was looking for. Sorry if the wording was offensive.

My next question is - What is PFM?

Not really any way to make it optional that I would know of.

PFM is pack file manager, a program used to mod Rome 2 data files. You can find it on the TWC rome 2 workshop forums.

Good night, I really like your mod, and the supply thing is great. I just have a few concerns. It's about supplying "allied" armies. I've seen that they give you the -10% income from agriculture. I awould like to require you why. As the ally army is there, it's not like WE have to feed them, but rather, our ally has to buy supplies from us to feed them. This should give a boost to our economy while giving a negative effect on theirs.

Can anyone explain the supply-system of the nomadic factions to me again, I have a problem which i couldnt really figure out. With the Saka Rauka i have attrition in the region of Kath, not in Aktau which is the same province, also in Aktau I have a building (grand camp) which provides supplies.
Is this region split intentionally or by accident? Or do you have to ge a supply building in every settlement with nomadic factions/Saka Rauka?

I love the campaign and roster of the Saka, but this issue breaks their campaign for me. I never had this issue before or with any other faction, please enlight me ^^

Otherwise best mod ive played so far 9/10.
Best wishes Konrad

Im not talking about provinces, im talking about single regions. The province consists of Kath and Aktau but the seem to have indepent supply limits and stocks.

I have a food surplus, enough supplies in Aktau, but in Kath (same province) supplies are below 0. So even though its the same province supllies are split.
Is that because of the nomadic system or is this an error?

I got an issue, hopefully somebody can help? I downloaded PFM to disable the supply system, problem is PFM can't find DEI at all. I can however find the DEI submods, such as No-garrison-penalty, but not the main DEI files. Cheers and thank you in advance.
P.S all the love and respect to our hard working devs!

supplies SHOULD not go negative, i was playing pergamon and had rhodos , athens and some thracian tribe declare war onme, their armies destroying my supply, i beat them but my supply is now negative 54 and even if i disband my army their armies standing in my lands make me loos 8% population every turn and i cant do anything about it, this is not cool, i have positive food and positive po. i lost 30k people without getting sieged and nothing i can do about it.

Protip: don't expect to be able to force attrition on defending enemy barbarian tribes as they do not run out of supplies in their owned territory. Yes , that's right, you could march a multitude of armies on their last remaining territory and exhaust their supply system turn after turn but somehow (magically it seems) they do not run out of supplies.

Nobody has -15 food on turn one unless you broke the mod with other submods.
