Custom turret solution?
Hi, I installed a custom turret controller with railguns but it doesn't work... Is there a solution?

besides that could you be more precise what isnt working?
the whole ct, just the ctc, manual control, automatic control or just the weapons used?
if its the weapons are they the railguns coming with se itself or from a mod and if from a mod which one?

Hello, it's about the custom turret AI that doesn't work. I searched the discussions but I didn't find the solution. They are vanilla railguns with vanilla rotor and hinge. I just tried in a new world with just WC and without other mods, same result :/ I don't understand English well I use a translator :/
yeah having probs with english will be problematic with most explanation.

if it works better for you you can also communicate in german with me.

if you can provide a example world (world with just the mods needed to reproduce something and a premade situation to show it) and provide a workshoplink to it here i can take a direct look at you setup and might see what is going on there.

New world, star system, no mods, just Weapon Core. The custom turret AI doesn't fire on its own; if I lock onto a target, it sometimes fires. And sometimes it doesn't, and I get a "Railgun No LOS" message on the HUD.

no los message, so it might be related to the recent changes on handling los.

check if it happens if you mount another type of weapons on the ct.

an please provide an example world so that i can take a look if it might be related to how you did setup the ct.

Hello, I think I found the reason... Really stupid hahaha, my ship didn't have an active antenna within range of the target... After several tests, everything seems perfect now :)

i am just a moduser and no modder.

the antenna shouldnt influence anything in a way that stops the ct from working properly.
