WeaponCore - 2.5
Mouse shooting to custom turret controller not working
Hello, the problem is quite simple.

I've been testing in Vanilla mode for the custom turret controller (which I think people call CDC?).

I'm talking about a turret built by the player with weapon blocks.

We have to select the weapons and add them to the turret controller, take control, and fire with the left mouse button.

Now let's move on to Weaponcore. Since we can't manually add weapons to the controller...

I group the weapons into one group, activate firing with the mouse, take control of the turret, and fire with the left mouse button. Nothing happens this time.

I've been searching for a solution for several hours, either without finding one or without understanding it. Could you help me understand?

Having the same issue with static guns on CTC turrets. I can aim just fine and some guns from mods work fine but others don't. Very unfortunate :(
ctc would be custom turret controller and ct would be custom turret.

you will need to put the ctc on the grid on which you put the azimuth on which you then put the elevation and the weapons on the elevation, then you give the azimuth and elevation into the ctc and the ctc autopopulates the weapons.

make sure the ctc and weapons are build after wc is in the world and if you use modded rotors or hinges countercheck with vanilla ones as some modded ones dont work properly for setting up a wc based ct.

some notedown for the ctc:

After restarting my ship's turret from scratch, I identified and was able to fix several issues, making it work now.

First, my gun wasn't equipped with elevation. I had no idea this had any effect on weapon detection... so I had to install one and lock it to get no elevation.

The second problem was that I installed WeaponCore AFTER building my turret, which simply made it obsolete... (even after changing the barrels etc, the elevation problem meant that it still didn't work, so I couldn't find the real problem during the changes)

I'm disgusted that this is such a stupid problem, but hey, this is the first time I've discovered this mod, and it's really a pain when you're used to vanilla and have to change everything.

at least it works now, thanks that someone intervened
