My vanilla turrets wont fire
i dont know what im doing wrong, but they wont shoot meteors, pirates or AI threats.

sadly none of the weapons are working with this new version of WC, i had to remove this version and go back to the old version on a FRESH NEW SAVE to be able to use ANY of the weapons in the game weaponcore related or not. and the comments section on the main page has been blowing up for days about how something is now broken with this mod. idk what they messed with but it broke everything

so your not doing anything wrong as far as im aware, it is the new mod developer's fault that things are so messed up rn. 1st off they re-uploaded it as a new mod which broke the dependancies of most weaponcore mods, and they failed to collaborate any kind of patches or fixes with the other modders. i hate to be that salty guy but if your not going to do something right then why the hell are you doing it? and thew new mod dev didnt do things right and now everything is broken and people are upset,l including myself as i lost a 400+ hour permadeath save due to this mod breaking something and corrupting my saved game

We are having the same issue - looks like loads of people in the discussion for the mod share the same problems too.

Join the discord- there are instructions to purge your mod cache and/or provide logs. There have been ZERO verifiable issues brought to the attention of the team running this transition.

The alternative to this new mod & management swap was simply the complete removal of WeaponCore. Be happy there's a chance for WC to continue to be updated by volunteers.

Maybe this will help (though ive realized after the fact that i was also running Vanilla+ at the time, and didnt realize that V+'s description said that it wouldnt work) I noticed in my game that all of the turrets guns ranges were set to zero, and then adjusting the slider bar brought the range up to a grand total of 4 meters. Dunno why.

Done a lot of testing. For teh time being, for most people, WeaponCore is effectively 'dead' in terms of functionality. Some clearly got it working, but I have no clue how to get it working.

Hey, not sure if this helps, OP, but this fixed my issue.

Weaponcore isn't the only thin g that has to be swapped out. If you have the Darkstar version of Defense Shields, make sure to replace that one as well. I swapped that one out and all of my mods started working again.

Hi there, if it can help, i've found a mod that the modder don't update the dependancies, and broke my weapon core because loading the old defense shield version... This mod was "Shield Status - LCD Script". I've posted a message to the author just in case... Maybe it's a good thing to check if you have an old mod that make the same thing ;)

Asking the modder to update the mod, forking it due to abandonment, etc.

It's unlikely an issue with WeaponCore.

Hello from the future this is still a HUGE issue that has yet to be fixed!
on my end the weapons all work in theyre respective work enviroment, so no intercepting meteors with artillery but with gatlings.
