Vale of Anduin Bear
So, I have a question.

Currently, you can only summon one bear to the battlefield. Problem is, the way you get a bear is either to have Dimborn in your party, the special Beorning shield equipped, or a Bear Warrior in your army. If you meet more than one of those requirements, it becomes extremely redundant. Meanwhile, Dunland gets to swarm you with wolves if they get enough Wolf Warriors. (Not complaining about that btw; Dunland severely needed the buff.)

I understand from a design point that you don't want multiple bears running around the battlefield, but I feel like the Vale needs some serious love. Is there any way to code it so that if you meet more than one of these requirements, it gives the bear armor or more hp or something? Or if that is too complicated, perhaps loading in an entirely new unit as an upgraded substitute?

Yes, I am very much aware that the factions are not intended to be perfectly balanced. Perhaps another way to do it would be to have an entirely separate "Bear" skill that is only available to Vale characters like yours or Dimborn?

The bear was originally made for Dimborn and there wasn't meant to be a way to have more of them, or get it in other ways. Then we added other ways.

Agreed that it might feel redundant if you have more than one way. Hm.

I am just reporting that as a Vale of Anduin hero with Dimborn in party I repeatedly got two bears for a battle. Always in the forest areas around Beorning house - if that matters.

No. Just as I wrote. No shield. One for Dimborn and one for me as Vale of Anduin leader it seems.
And I was also quite surprised. First time i have seen it.

Well, I was unaware that you could get a bear just for being a Vale hero. Were you investing in Wildcraft? I am just trying to figure out the rules here.

Yes. I was probably saving some Beornings in these battles. That coulod be it.

Was the second Bear fully functional (moving, attacking, etc.) from the start ? I remember posting about getting two Bears when I started giving Dimborn a horse, but the second one wasn't behaving the same as the first one.
