Hey, thanks for the feedback! I've actually addressed this already however it hasn't been released yet. It will come out soon as soon as I add some finishing touches to it.

One thing that should be noted though that with this improved system, bots will not respond to building pings as the entire mode/desire logic was overwritten and thus no longer uses Valve's default behavior for these things, which included that. They defend very efficiently through my tests though, so hopefully you won't need this.

New update has been pushed out with the changes I've mentioned above. I tested this against A Beginner AI bot script and PhalanxBot won 75 - 45, however, there is still much room for improvement.

why are they not picking or banning on custom lobbies

in custom lobbies Dire site not choosing its lane respective to the slot in the lobby. thx

Hey, thanks for using my bots! Currently the only gamemode supported with this bot script is All Pick. I would love to add support for other modes that are possible through the bot API in the future, however it is very low on the priority list as the bots have an extremely limited hero pool currently and I would like to continue improving their gameplay a bit more.

Happy to see you're enjoying my script via the comments! I was made aware recently that Dire team currently does not function the same way Radiant does in the lobby. Unlike Radiant, Dire team seems to automatically move you up to the first available slot when hero selection begins. This appears to be an issue on Valve's end. A workaround is possible, but would require a complete rework of the hero selection code. I'll try to look into this when I look into adding support for other modes.

Hello! Got an issue with Gyrocopter as Pos 4 bot, they seem to really like making last hits during the laning stage. I mean, I can [git gud] but it happens often at the same time as I do. Hahahahahah

Glad you’re enjoying the bots! Gyro does indeed like taking last hits as a support. This is because the bots still use valve’s laning logic and determine who gets last hits by their stats in the main menu. He’s listed pretty high as a carry, so he tends to try and take them away from most offlaners. I do have measures in place to reduce this but It’s definitely not where I want it to be. I’ll try to look into a real solution within the next couple of updates.

Ah, I see! I kind of thought of the same thing too, since it happens with the new Zeus pos 4 recently. So far I just ping them someplace else before they do the last hit, and it works! Thank you.

I’ve ran some tests on a quick fix I came up with and it seems to have solved the issue. When I get home I’ll run a couple more tests and try to push out an update with the fix along with everything else I’ve been working on.

Arc Warden still alive, but use buyback on own copy illusion and then they will live forever until Arc Warden use ult and resummon copy (when resummon now copy again have lifetime) or copy die.
