Keep in mind that alternative features need to be enabled, and you cannot have left mouse as your keybind.
While hovering over the stone platform item in your inventory, tap the whitelist key. When done on an item, it'll add that item (what it places anyways) to the swapping whitelist. Using the un-whitelist key in the same fashion will remove it.
When used on a wall or tile in the world, the (un)whitelist keys add or remove the tile/wall to/from their respective whitelists for excavations.
Toggle mode has no implications on the interaction other it being a toggle rather than a hold - this goes for all operations. You need to click when excavations are active (either by hold or toggle), and the mod will mimic whatever vanilla decides to do to the tile/wall.
I've done all the steps this discussion had provided (Enabled alternative features; Whitelisted the item; Excavation mode is enabled), yet nothing happens! It works perfectly well with vanilla platforms though so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Even the debug logs aren't telling anything other than errors of attempting to place tiles on occupied spaces
EDIT: In the modded item's tooltip, it says "chain-swap" while on the vanilla ones it says "chain-place". Is that supposed to happen?
If it doesn't say chain-place, the block is not currently supported. Please bear in mind that extension features are still in beta, and are not yet advertised as a completed and supported feature.
