Comparing rewards from completing "Greek" named Systems.
  • Alpha:

  • Beta:

  • Gamma: You fight a powerful fleet & star-bases You Receive/find a relic. Relic possession and or activation allows you to build 3 kinds of ships. They are either built as Megastructures or in shipyards depending on settings/choices you make on the dialog at the start of the game. -- Of these three ship types, you can make only ONE of the biggest ship, and as many of the two smaller ones as you are able (resources/time)
-- After many years, a "Situation" occurs for research in the Gamma Sector -- The technology that eventually becomes available, is that to build a VOID Initiative space station/megastructure, with 9 STAGES of construction

  • Delta:

  • Epsilon:

  • Eta:

  • Theta: No surprises here, you can begin your search for the other systems.

  • Zeta: You fight powerful fleets at MULTIPLE gateways, after more events Zeta system itself. You Receive/find a relic. Relic possession and or activation allows you to build 3 kinds of ships. They are either built as Megastructures or in shipyards depending on settings/choices you make on the dialog at the start of the game. -- Of these three ship types, you can make only ONE of the biggest ship, and as many of the two smaller ones as you are able (resources/time) -- The ZETA ships you can build are, in my opinion, MUCH more powerful than the Gamma area ones

For the zeta relic, am I defeating the crisis there to get the relic? Or do I need to do other side stuff

"...in a previous game i just did i defeated the zeta area crisis but i didn't get anything from it? how do you get the relic your talking about"
In my case, I defeated all six gates, then Zeta itself, then a "storm warning" forced my fleets to leave. Then the storm occurred and also affected about 8 systems "close" to Zeta (not connected by hyperlanes, just in a circular area around it galactically. If no planets are turned into psionic occupied planets, or those planets are destroyed. After that, about (1.5 years later in my case) a dialog reports "the storm is now over" or similar. I then go and attack zeta a 2nd time (and the new fleets there). Some time after that a dialog reports a relic is found. In my english translation it is called "Ancient Core Storage" key name ag_zeta_crisis_relic: "§P古代存储核心§!"

Ahhh okay cause when I retook the zeta area I never got an event to get the relic unless I need to wait some time to get it?

I have not looked at the Mod code for time delays or what "other" things might be triggers for getting the Relic.

thats the only relic ive gotten is the one from the zeta area

Zeta-relic ships are better than Gamma ones.
Did you choose to build them as Megastructures or in shipyards?

Also I don't know what level you chose for "Ancient Empire" difficulty, but at maximum level AE-Zeta gateway-fleets are MUCH tougher than Stellarborne, even the Special-Mod version of StellarBorne

I usually play on hard mode 2.5x for ancient empires (by the point i have the gamma area ships I generally can amass a fleet of 200 battle cruisers and escorts, the zeta ships I figured would be much better tho to, specific mod list I should try for max difficulty ancient empires?)

There are many settings that increase difficulty. Hard to list them all. Here is what I use (for difficulty specifically).

The sliders before game generation
These really don't affect most mods very much. Default AI from Paradox/Stellaris is'nt a challenge at all. The "Civilian, Captain, Grand Admiral" doesn't really change the way the AI behaves, just gives them a resource multiplier BUFF.
I don't challenge myself with built-in-AI. Enemy empires isn't why I play. Only various mods's crises pose challenges.
But for Grins I play Grand Admiral and set crisis difficulty to 250x.

The BEGIN of game popup 'settings' dialogs from Mods
These often have difficulty settings. Some can be changed throughout the game, some only the FIRST time. Depends on mod. Ancient Empires has a slider, I 'believe' it can be changed at any time. I set Ancient Empires bar on far right/maxiumum. AE's Event timings on [any time] so events can happen earlier.

Gigastructures difficulties can ONLY be Changed in the initial dialog. I set all to Maximum.

I'm not sure which combination of my mods change the displayed "Fleet Strength", but crisis fleets and Ancient Empire fleets typically show as 1 Billion+. Paradox's numbers glitch at that point sometimes they are +1.2G somtimes they are -2.0G or simliar (so are my fleets).

Thanks mythic banana!! I use acot a lot and I think it mixes better with ancient empires than zenith of fallen empires.

I’ll probably use the last two :3

hey mythic one last question for you? i was thinking of switching my mods around and going zenith of fallen empires vs ancient empires, how well in your opinion do you think zenith stuff would fair?

Never played zenith by itself, as far as I recall reading Zenith is similar to PARTS of
Beyond the Gates and parts of
AOT (Acquisition of Technology) maybe
Dawn of Ascension. Its been a while since I read that so not sure.
