I mean I can see that with some of the things but I'm using 11KW out of 4MW with everything on so I should have enough power to run the smeltery but it's doing nothing.

I have 4 turbines, with the smelter not working, i changed the weather to heavy rain and it started to work. definitely power hungry.

Thats my problem. I have had literally all the options I have access to in terms of refinerys attatched to my main base and wired in. We're talking at least 20-30 different refinery options. None of them, including the base game refinery and Industrial Overhaul Smelter, work for the purified ores.
Small update in terms of my problems with purified ores. Either there was an update that fixed things, in which case thank you very much clockwork, or my game finally decided it was goign to start working MOSTLY correctly. It seems that before when I did my little ore test I actually didnt have the Industrial Overhaul Smelter installed on my grid. So its refining Purified Nickle, Iron, Silicon, and Cobalt. The standard Refinery on the other hand seems capable of only handling purified Uranium, Gold, Silver, and Platinum. Purified Lithium and Niter don't seem to want to refine in ANY refinery and the Uranium Centrifuge (cant remember if this is part if IO or not but adding it in case) refuses to refine Uranium.

lithium and niter get processed in a different structure and the refined version just ensures more final product.
most likely the uranium centrifudge is from another mod that is not integrated with Industrial overhaul yet

Hi, does anyone else have problem with making things in Chemical plant ?
When I set a queue of lithium paste or rubber (doesen't matter) It will make some amount but My queue will disapeer very quickly and make only small amont but when I add to queue more items then it works again but only until the queue will rapidly disapeer.

And same problem with cooperative mod in all other blocks, When I add a queue in the master, but non coop. mod works fine.

just wondering, but are any of the production type blocks able to construct tools added in by other mods, like say the paint gun for example. have tried looking through each one, including the ones that have a tools tab and none of the modded tools show up

Really love the idea of the mod but locking ores to chance really kills it. The big culprit being the sand, without that you are absolutely locked in progression. I've put 8 hours into a save where not a single node is to be found, I have used admin build to make detectors set to 5k and just drop them around but they completely bug out and don't detect a thing. I think this has to do with the ice thats right under the entire surface,

This is on earthlike, maybe make the ores biom specific because as is a 6.6/13.2 chance of needed ores is not fun with any sort of rng when you include the 3km spacing.

Perhaps make the sand only found in desert bioms at a decent chance, titanium/lithium exclusively beneath ice lakes if thats even possible, niter being under the grassy areas, boxite/gold/silver in the mountains, ect. with some variance as to what is there within the bioms with iron/nickle/silicon being still found in all bioms

Yeah, modules are disabled in this, didn't make much sense to only have them work on a few machines

Hi there, @Clockwork168, first, the mod is amazing.

In the beginning of the game can you make a rover? Because there is a "cheap" version of the wheels but not the control.

The control seat will work on a small grid, the hardest part is the aluminium plates but you can get them from the unknown signal pod buttons if you have that enabled. plus med cargo containers are made of them and also a chance they are in the cargo pod

Any suggestions on how to find lithium and oil sand on earth? I have been searching for hours and can't find any nodes or underground deposits. lacking both has crippled my advancement I can't make any kind of rechargeable battery for my rover or station.

Salazar i've found oil sand 96 deep on earth, be sure you increase the range of your ore scanner.. and it's in an icy lake, so don't think it's biome related
